Restaurant at The Hunting Lodge in Charnwood

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Good food and drink selection. The room we stayed in was amazing with a great breakfast.

Ethan and Gavin along with the rest of the team were great. Super hospitable and welcoming. Tucked 1 of our bikes away in a shed/garage.Breakfast was brilliant.Thanks bundles

Went here for Mother’s Day. By far the worst food I’ve been out for in years. Set menu was presented but the only decent options for starter and main, and seemingly all puddings, were unavailable. Roast beef main was comparable to that of a secondary school dinner but worse. Thin rolled beef like sandwich meat with all barely cooked frozen veg and smash. Service was fine, not their fault the food was abysmal. Do not waste your money.

Absolutely rubbish.It was freezing cold the doors were wide open.They had hardly anything decent on the menu for people that can’t eat very much. The staff got the food out late.And all in all it’s just terrible I would never come back here only if I had to

First time visiting, I was very hopeful as looks a lovely place and we are local. Roast Lamb dinner was acceptable and most of it was warm. Though no root veg, and the roast potatoes, stuffing and Yorkie pudding were not freshly made (doubt Lamb was fresh either, but I wasn't sure). Children had pizza off children's menu, and when came out- was a Chicago Town frozen pizza (usually pack of 2 cost £1-1.25 from supermarket!). Service was fine. Unfortunately we won't be returning 😔 plenty nice places around Quorn, Barrow and Sileby to try or return to.

Drinks were missed off when others were bought to the table, salad that was specifically asked for never arrived, and we were given 2 bowls of chips between 9 people. Not great, and rather expensive.

Been visiting this restaurant for many years now. Food is always excellent (complimentary chips, new potatoes or salad- just ask for more), staff attentive and efficient. Good quality food; reasonably priced.

Four of us ladies ( sisters) had a meal here today the food was top notch, the staff were brilliant, shout out to Gavin, even got a birthday treat would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

We dined out on Christmas Day for the first time as a family group of eleven. It couldn't have gone better. The staff were amazing, very helpful and pleasant. The food was great (well except the cauliflower which was a bit hard) and plenty of it. There were Christmas crackers and Santa hats.All in all a great experience and one we aim to repeat next year.
