Rising Sun in Charnwood

Terrible, just really awful. Missing food, what arrived was cold. Manager doesn’t care. Be very careful if you’d like the right order and you’d like to have warm food (sadly, McDonald’s may be a better option if you like warm food and an accurate order).

We ordered a meal for delivery at 6.15 was due to be here at 7.30 it’s now 8.05 & STILL waiting!!! Called them to enquire if we would be receiving the meal we have ordered & already paid for to be told it should be here at 8.15 TWO HOURS after ordering & that they are very busy tonight!!!

Consistently good, happy to deliver too, never had a bad one here.

Premises looks a bit tatty on the outside but I ordered me a beef curry egg fried rice and chips. Curry excellent. rice fine. Chips. best Chinese chip in a yonkapfone . Just like they were before oven chips 🤣🤣

Had great food for 17 years but last couple.of meals , luke warm , dry , almost certainly reheated, the rice was dark brown and tasted almost fusty , because of past great meals we didn't complain but now 2 poor meals in a row so will be ordering elsewhere from now on

Not a good Chinese Meal. My Family ordered 3 chicken and sweetcorn soups,prawn Crackers,hot and sour soupSweet and sour vegtables ,egg Fried Rice,chow mein and sweet and sour chicken. It was not that good (texture and taste) the main part of the meal, the chicken Chow Mein had a sticky texture the sweet and sour chicken had beef instead of chicken and the vegetarian sweet and sour was bitter. Need to work on food quality. I will stick to Sileby Cottage Chinese takeaway it tastes better

I've ordered this Crispy Shredded Chicken with Chilli & Salt and didn't know what I was eating! I suspect that it was refried from the day before, it was inedible and the rest of the food was far too salty.

The food was nice. The crispy shredded chicken wasn't how I personally like it, but it was still nice. Now they made s big mistake with my order but I wasn't going to go out of my way to go back and rectify. They had missed out a dish (assorted starters) and given me an extra portion of chips which bizarrely had 3 sausages in? On a good note though, the chips were really nice.

We've tried different Chinese take aways in the Loughborough area and after much trial and error we and have found the quality and taste to be far superior at Rising Sun. It is now our official go to Chinese and they always delivery in the amount of time they say it will take. The price is reasonable as well. I order from Big Foodie that you are directed to when you go to their website via google maps. I've not had an issue with a two hour wait for food like other people who say they've ordered from Just Eat.

Regular customer and usually hot and tasty, today quality wasn't anywhere as good and food was cool and bland, pancake rolls were a bit soggy and tons of beansprouts.Have you changed the chef, sad because we don't order Indian takeaways because of poor food quality and usually Chinese never falters, what is going on.Back to update, food quality has definitely improved and delivery much faster so although my original post was a bit off I have to say I'm happy to see the improvements.Take care and stay safe
