Sileby Cottage Chinese Resturant in Charnwood

I have ordered twice. First time food was quite ok but with delay. But yesterday my chips tasted like chimney ash.. It's next day and I have a stomach ache and want to vomit.. it was a last time I 've ordered

Wow what a perfect meal!! Me and my mum loved it!Valentines day as well but came on time.We had Chicken Curry, Egg fried rice and 2 Pancake rolls. Now that's what you call a pancake roll! Best flavoured meal we've had from a Chinese place ever. Thank you! See you again soon!

Order arrived 2 hours late. Had to walk 20 minutes down the road to meet the driver as he had no idea where he was going.When we finally got the food home, half the order was missing, everything else stone cold.We then called Sileby Cottage to complain and ask where our missing items were. We were then shouted at down the phone and accused or being liars numerous times.We were then promised a call back the following day by a lady who described herself as the manageress on the phone. This never happened.Absolute shambles. Evening ruined.Don't waste your money, time or appetite.

The food is terrible! Fatty ribs, no taste to any of the dishes and rude staff!

Best Chinese in Leicestershire. I drive 15 mins both ways to come to here over any of my local takeaways since it's simply the best in terms of quality and variety. They're also fast and have a 5 star hygiene rating which is a rarity in take aways.I'm pleased they do so many tofu dishes. I'm surprised it so hard to find vegan dishes in Chinese take aways, but Sileby Cottage are the best.

On friday the 12th, I ordered my food on the Just Eat app at 19:10. I received at notification that my food will arrive around 20:20. I rang Sielby Cottage at 20:45 to enquire on what time my food will be delivered, I got told it will be 15mins. So I waited and I had to ring for the 2nd time at 21:15 to enquire again and what I get in return is that the person on the was very rude to me and said "your food is on it's way, so the problem?!" And finally I received my food at 21:20.Not good is it? I wasn't being unreasonable, I was polite on the phone both times just enquiring about my and for it to be over an hour late and rudeness over the phone.Not acceptable, definitely don't recommend Sielby Cottage and I won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered at 6pm. Said delivery 6.40. Didnt turn up. Then was changed on just eat to 7.05. Didnt turn up. Chased various times. Kept changing the time. 4 year old grandson waiting to eat and go bed. Now 8 45 and still no sign. Currently eating a sandwich and it will go in the bin if it ever turns up

I came across this place by accident as the local chip shop had closed, so I went to order from here instead.I'm pleased I did because this has to be the best place in Loughborough.Their BBQ ribs are deliciousTheir chow main perfectly cooked and their sweet and sour chicken balls are to die for.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

After recommendations I thought I'd give Sileby cottage a try as I'm new to the area.. And I must say I really enjoyed my meal so did the children very nice size portions all hot.. Will definitely be coming back soon! only one thing would be nice to have a choice of delivery at weekends maybe something to think about...

The food was delicious and a massive portion! It was very hot too which was nice as it was the right temperature to eat when we got home. The place was immaculate and the lady on the front was very good. Would recommend to anyone who fancies a Chinese. The only problem I had was trying to find a menu online.
