Fantastic food, cracking pint and a decent price

It's worth booking a table as it can get busy, especially on Skittles night, but we've managed to drop in for evening meal and get a table. It's also nice at lunchtime for meeting up with friends, before having a wander round the shops in Barrow.The food has been good both times we've been, and staff were friendly and helpful, and prices are good too!It's worth going for a walk along the lovely River Soar as it is so close by, but remember to move your car to the free public car park in the village as the pub is popular so the car park gets busy.

Beautiful local pub. Lovley pub with friendly staff and great beers on tap. Food menu ticks all the boxes with favourite pub classics served. The pub is dog friendly with comfortable seating throughout and has bench seating outside. Lots of parking and easy to find. Can't recommend this pub enough!

Great evening playing skittles. Ideal for group entertainment and food excellent.

Love love love this local. Amy + Rob & team are so so friendly and welcoming they make you feel like you've known them all so long. The atmosphere is amazing.

Lovely food, don't know the waitresses name but she was run ragged and was still friendly, professional and smiling. Highly recommend, good customer service is hard to find these days, this place has it in abundance. X

Fantastic home cooked food.This is definately a pub worth visiting, staff very friendly and polite.I shall be making a return visit .Well done all.

Sept 2020Went for Lunch and we had an amazing meal, We had the Special "Steak" It was cooked to perfection and hot, it came with Chips, Salad, Onion rings, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas. Best meal we've eaten out in long time.Really good price too for a Special.Definitely definitely going again.Notice my empty plateYummy.
