Tandoori Empire in Charnwood

Admittedly I ordered relatively late, 9:30 on a Tuesday. This is up there with the worst curries I’ve ever had though. I ordered a Rogon Josh which came out bright pink, like a highlighter pen. There were zero tomato’s the meat was old and chewy, swimming in oil,and it was all freezing cold. It didn’t taste bad, it had no taste. I rang for a collection and they gave me a 25 minute wait time, when I arrived I’m pretty sure I overheard them begin to cook it as the waiter seemed to tell him to get started on it. It was clearly hurried, at least I hope so because if this is their standard then it doesn’t bode well.

Great evening, 24 of us, all with different curries and the food and service could not be faulted. The food all came out together and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended.

Table booked for 6pm,Great service and food excellent apart from desert which for a strawberry shortcake was rock solid could not get fork through it. Would have been 5 star if not for quality of desert, still well worth a visit just be aware of desert.

Always great food. We think, the best Indian in Quorn. Staff are lovely too.

The food wow was delicious not over powering but if you like a good curry this is the curry house to come to the puddings they are just as delicious has the food the staff are warm welcoming and friendly they will make you feel at ease I rate this a good meal out I will be back

The worst curry I’ve had for a long time, will not be ordering again, ever. Zero flavour, 4 prawns for £12, tinned mushrooms. Rubbish, Salim’s is the place to go in Loughborough, Tandoori Empire doesn’t come anywhere close! Don’t bother
