The Amber Rooms in Charnwood

Stopped in for breakfast and hot drinks. It's a wetherspoons, you know what you are getting. Nice big place, staff friendly and place was clean, although seems a Dimly lit place. Overall good experience.

Nice bar, friendly staff. Spiral stairs feel abit dangerous. Stick to walking around the outside, I've seen a couple of people fall down these on a night and then thrown out for being too drunk. Othe that that It's your typical wetherspoons. Good food reasonable prices.

Very rude outdoor staff. Informed the people sitting next to us that it was an outdoor no smoking area and if he saw them smoking again he would ask them to leave. The tone from this member of staff was rude and aggressive. Although he wasn’t speaking to me I was shocked, I asked him not to be so rude and to maybe change his tone. He told me that he always spoke in that tone. What an answer !

Had lovely breakfast and a big family lunch there. Food was quick and good. The only negative is ,the staff really need to check their cutlery, again we had to ask for clean cutlery.

Always enjoy some good spoons food. Nice and big, clean and good waiting staff. Security.. not so great, I've had a couple of experiences of rude security guards, fortunately I don't tend to go at times where they are present. I still go regularly as it's an enjoyable experience.

Nicer building and cleaner than the other weatherspoons in town, obviously it's exactly what you'd expect. Feel like the staff don't really care at this branch though, they seem reluctant to help. also what's the point in having a fully functioning bar upstairs, when you can't even order from it? C+ see me...

Family venue before 7pm you can't knock it, beer and burger highly recommended, fast workers, get your food within 10 minutes, cheap and very cheerful... advice... get more crayons for us, kids love it

We made the mistake of going with the children on Saturday there was Rugby. We had to wait to be seated as many couples were occupying large tables . The two waiters at the top were not enough to serve, clean tables and others. We had to clean our own table. The chicken burgers we ordered were not bad, but the bread was really horrible, the beef burger was hard as the sole of a shoe and the bread was hard. The fish we ordered was very too fried. I really felt sorry for the poor waiters , we will never be back on a Saturday again .

Very clean JDW's with no problems to note.I had a vegetarian breakfast and hot drinks for the new increased price of £5.15. Food was cooked just right and only a couple of minutes wait.TV on showing the news. Some interesting information on the walls about the local history of Loughborough.Some nice plants in the beer garden.

The vibe is laid back and sporty but classy nonetheless. Very reasonably priced, great music and friendly staff. The Ginberry fizz cocktail is a must try! The slot machines around are a great gaming feature. It would be my go-to place for a casual evening with friends!
