The Anchor Inn in Charnwood

Really nice little pub. We went at the jubilee bank Holiday, they had a bbq and plenty for the family.Would recommend to anyone with children.

Outside garden is lovely has games and a children's play area. Enclosed and safe garden and allows dogs xx

Called in Saturday lunchtime for something to eat really nice pub,staff attentive and food was excellent very large portions

Brilliant, I turned up with a puncture, dressed in lycra. (I'm 52 and somewhat portley). Not a word was said about my appearance, pint was perfectly poured. I think I may return in civvies.

A nice pub, welcoming walkers, and serving pre-ordered meals promptly. Good food although the Hunters Chicken , though tasty, was a little dry. A nice pint of Tiger's ale.

A great place to take a family with kids for a meal, if that's what you are looking for then the Anchor is ideal, good value and family friendly. Unfortunately, this time we were looking for something a bit different but that's no fault of the Anchor, we just didn't know what to expect.

What a brilliant dog friendly pub! So friendly and welcoming. Food is great value for money as well as tasty! Great pub would recommend to anyone and will be!

Great welcome on entering and cheerful friendly faces. First time eating in the restaurant, pleasant surroundings. The menu was very good with plenty of variety. Waited a while for the meal to arrive, however it was nicely presented and very tasty, the wait was well worth it. Will definitely visit again and maybe make it my local 👍

Had my son's 50th here after a recommendation, and I have to say everything was absolutely perfect! All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was awesome! The room looked amazing - the staff decorated it beautifully at no extra cost. Big thanks to a wonderful family business for making my son's 50th an occasion to remember ❤ Just to add, we've also had lunch here & the food, once again, was fantastic. Highly recommended on all counts 👌

Large portions, Quality food well cooked and a good price . I had surf and turf.
