The Blacksmiths in Charnwood

Whole family, 13, went for Sunday lunch. Service was great and everyone enjoyed the food. However, very limited and uninspiring vegetarian and vegan options, as a consequence the Sunday lunch price proved to be expensive for what we had. All the meat options were good value but there shouldn't really be any disparity for non-meat eaters in this day and age. Very happy with the ambience.

I had the confit duck leg for my starter and the confit pork belly for my main.Both dishes were very delicious, if I lived in the area I would be returning regularly.I definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area and are looking for somewhere which sells seasonal dishesAlso be careful as there's another pub with the same name within a few miles

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the blacksmiths, lots of choice for the starters, meats were lovely except the beef would have been better if it was fillet, as it was a little chewy. Impeccable service. Drinks reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and will be back soon.

Have just enjoyed a very nice family meal at this restaurant. Food was excellent, service was excellent, staff were excellent. We were the table for 11. Including a very small messy child. Thankyou for your patience. Definitely will return.

Superb Sunday lunch! A spontaneous midday stop with my wife & 5 year old child. Very friendly & courteous staff. The pub is so cosy, with log burner & calm ambience. My wife & I had the roast. Best meal we have had in a long time, with generous portions of beautifully cooked food. My son had the sausage & chips, which he loved. Sausages were high end quality. I also had a local charnwood ale which accompanied the roast brilliantly. Very happy with the cost & whole experience. Will definitely be back to enjoy again.

This is clearly a popular venue. I was here with family for an evening meal on a Friday night and we could only get an early slot. The range of food options was good and clearly marked for those wanting gluten-free or vegan choices. The staff were friendly and helpful and prices were reasonable. It makes the most of limited space and has car parking, but with a very narrow entrance!

Friendly staff, good quality food with interesting and imaginative flavours, nice environment, group of 18 in upstairs function room. Main course took a little long to arrive but served all 18 at once so excusable.

Excellent food and cosy feeling. Staff were excellent. Has to be one of the best Sunday Lunches we've had. Definitely the best in the Loughborough area.
