Had a really nice meal there today. Service was good although a little slow at the bar. I will definitely go back. One thing they do need to do is sort the seating out! Those chairs are very uncomfortable. Very tired and worn cushioning (lack of)All in all though the food was great and the service was good.

First time at the bradgate. Really enjoyed the food. Came within 15 minutes of ordering. Staff are really polite and welcoming. Portion sizes are great. Only thing I'd recommend is updating the seats, they are super uncomfortable.

Very disappointing Sunday roast, the roast beef was pre sliced by machine and reheated, parsnips were under cooked and had no colour on them, the veg!!! What can I say, red cabbage and green cabbage. Why…. A bit of broccoli wouldn’t have gone amiss, the cauliflower cheese was beige, soggy and lacking cheese. I won’t be going back.

Great place for dining; it's also a stones throw away from Bradgate Parks main entrance. This allows for a dining experience and pleasant walk around a beautiful natural park. I would highly recommend checking this spot out....

Such a nice place to go winter or summer. Food is lovely and love the inspirational quotes in the 🚻 🤣

Lovely, cosy pub, excellent service, excellent food, massive portions and all for a surprisingly reasonable price. Was a totally impromptu lunch visit after a trip to the airport, was so pleasantly surprised! Play area was also quite fun for our toddler

Been here twice, I've left the original 3 star review. On the second more recent visit the experience was poor. They put everyone in the same part of the restaurant rather than spreading people out. Kid's running around, dogs inside barking. This was a constant annoyances throughout the night. The staff where slow again, we had to get up twice to go and order. The dessert was cold and the custard warm.I would not recommend, and won't be going back.So everything started off well, friendly and helpful staff, nice venue.Limited selection of ales.Ordered the chilli nachos for a starter, it was a good sized portion and tasted delicious. Then downhill. The lamb and leek pie was nice it's self was nice, however it only come with a few peas and chips. The chips were greasy and just cooked.Wanted to pay the bill and leave, it took ages to get a waitress.

Today I am at a pub next to the lovely Bradgate Country Park. Situated in a small village called Newtown Limford on the outskirts of Leicester, its a nice quaint little place to be.The entire pub has a one way system throughout including the toilets. As it was too hot outside, I chose to sit inside the snug. I was greeted promptly arriving and given a free choice of tables.I opted for the 3 course fixed price menu coming in at £17.75. This is on the dearer side given the location of the pub.Starter: Garlic MushroomsMushrooms are my absolute favorite. This was a fair portion with some nice bread to go with it.Main: 8oz Classic BurgerPresented on a Brioche Bun that was lightly toasted with skinny fries, the meat patty was tender and well cooked throughout. Accompanied with cheese for good measure.Dessert: Chocolate Brownie with vanilla ice creamRich texture to the ice cream. Brownie served warm. Classic combination which you can't go wrong with!Overall I had nothing really to complain about this visit and as such I would recommend it 10/10 😇😊

Great place to eat. The pub was laid out well, with a system in place for the current pandemic. The staff were friendly and helpful, even after we arrived late and it was no bother fitting us in.  The food tasted great and was good value for money.  All the dishes looked good, but the pizzas in general are on another level; The Lady Jane being my personal favorite. A good selection of drink to choose from as well; both soft and alcoholic.  The pale ale is nice and they have some tasty spirits if you like a mixture.  A good choice of afters also, we were not disappointed with them. The chocolate brownie I had cold, which melted in my mouth when I ate it. We will definitely be coming back here again in the future.
