"The Buttermarket Cafe is a small, friendly cafe in Mountsorrel, Loughborough. The cafe serves breakfasts, hot cobs/baguettes, cold cob/baguettes, panini/toasties, jacket potatoes, hot cold drinks, homemade cakes & snacks. Ideal morning stop before work for breakfast or lunch break. Dine-in, takeout, pickup orders. We serve daily specials with our own recipes & items from the menu. It's also a place to have breakfast on Saturdays or Sundays to start your weekend off with an English Breakfast, Vegetarian Breakfast, or some bacon & sausage rolls and coffee! We're in the village centre, so it's easy to find us - lookout for the historical monument outside! The Buttermarket is home to lovely characters both behind the counter & among customers."

Loved the breakfast from here! We are veggie and the staff were more than happy to accommodate special requests. Iced coffee could have been a little nicer, but on the whole a great place!

Visited the Butter market cafe for a bit of breakfast while waiting for a car service down the road.The staff were very friendly, felt very welcome when we walked in, the place is very clean and tidy with plenty of seating and clear menus and prices.The food was very reasonably priced.The breakfast was excellent, hot plates are a great sign that the kitchen cares, and this place is no exception. Very hot food arrived very quickly and was really well presented, all looked very nice, generous portions and wouldn't change a thing.Highly recommended, look forward to visiting again in the future.

Found ths place in Mountsorrel , nice little cosy cafe , not many tables in side there is some tables outside when it's warm enough to sit out. Had the English breakfast, which was very nice and hot for a reasonable price , so I think it's worth another visit......
