This place is a like a hidden gem! Well worth the visit. Cant believe i haven't come across this before. Definitely will visit again. Super friendly staff, fresh tasty food that is very reasonably priced. Cannot go wrong. Go visit!!

Best steak ever. A small venue so book to avoid disappointment. Steaks are seared then you cook them yourselves on a hot stone at the table. Not just a novelty, the quality of the meat is excellent

Not a friendly atmosphere at all! A older lady who works there was so rude, barging past you and ignoring you. She didn’t smile the whole time and made it a non friendly atmosphere.

I've been going to the Golden Fleece for years, their carvery is top notch and the new addition of stone rocks for a steak night has been a fun and interactive experience for group dining, the staff are also lovely and attentive, would definitely recommend

Such a lovely friendly place. Had a fantastic festive afternoon tea today. Wow 👌, food and selection was excellent. Visited several times never disappointed, would highly recommend a visit.

Two visits to the Golden Fleece - the first to check out the menu and facilities in order to discuss with Darren the possibility of holding a small gathering following the burying of ashes of a family memberBoth times we have visited there has been a warm welcome from Darren and his team. We have enjoyed well prepared and tasty food and the afternoon tea prepared for twenty+ people was beautifully displayed with a lovely combination of sweet and savoury choices making the occasion a very sociable eventWe look forward to returning

Visited for Sunday Carvery. First time since 2019 due to COVID-19.Reduced choice of vegetables but everything was of the usual standard (portions).Staff appeared to be quite stressed but there were a number of very young people who were probably learning on the job.The hospitality industry has been under so much pressure - I love this place, partly due to family connections. I'll be back.

This place is amazing the sunday carvery was absolutely fantastic and desserts were to die for. Thank you to all the staff looking after our family you were all so accomodating. Look forward to seeing you soon.
