The Hideaway Cafe in Charnwood

I loved this place. Went there with my baby and a few friends. They were so accommodating. Had run out of vegilgie sausages but the owner happily ran out and got some. Food was all cooked fresh and had some really nice vegan options too.

Very nice food very friendly family went after a run last Sunday , get down there ☺️

We have had lunch here a few times now and we’re always very impressed with the menu choices, the quality and the service. Today we tried the new menu addition, the afternoon tea, and WOW it was sooo good!!! Really good value for money, the selection of sandwiches, cakes, treats and scones were lovely! It did beat us though and the staff kindly packaged up our scones to take home to enjoy later. Would definitely recommend both the afternoon tea and The Hideaway Café generally 😍

Honestly I can’t fault this cafe. Such friendly service!Breakfast is lovely, stops at a reasonable time ie 12pm.Such a lovely young lady who runs this cafe, she made sure that me and my family were well taken care of. Easy to order xx

Wow! I had the pleasure of popping by for a slab of Victoria sponge cake, absolutely delicious! Lovely well mannered staff. The owner is such a lovely young girl.Also had a lovely tea.100% recommended:)

We had a great breakfast here this morning. The cafe is looking really fresh. Very friendly staff who catered to our dietary needs.

The hideaway is a lovely little place in Syston. The "pick your own breakfast" is brilliant and ensures you get exactly what you fancy. The quality is fantastic and the service is brilliant. You can have a laugh with the owner and fellow customers. 100% will revisit soon.

Ordered breakfast prior to work this morning. Service was great. Food tasted great. We both ordered 7 items. We had breakfast boxes without toast. But you normally get toast with the box. Shame I could not sit in. But will be ordering from there again.

Highly rate the Hideaway Cafe! Ordered two breakfasts one of which was gluten free and two lunches, again one was gluten free. Everything was labelled clearly so there was no cross contamination. Considering we live 20-30 minutes away every thing arrived warm and in excellent time! The gentleman that delivered was very considerate, kind and friendly at the door and ensured social distancing applied and the person behind the phone taking my order was very kind and polite also.The food was lovely and very fresh! Considering we hadn’t been to a cafe for months it brought back the smell taste and experience to our home :) it was thoroughly enjoyed!!!Thank you!
