Went today (19th June 2022, Father's day), had not booked but we sat outside for a drink and food, son and giant breed dog in tow and would highly recommend; they even provided a complimentary gift upon leaving for Father's day. I only live 100 yards away so I will frequent more often

If you like good food like we do,then a visit here is a must.They have steak night on Wednesday and fish night on Thursday.A lovely family run business in the beautiful village of Quorn.They serve the best Tempura King Prawns we have ever had.Not forgetting the most amazing chips.Well worth a trip out and make sure you book as it's a very popular.Review helpful like 👍 follow thanks

We just had the best Sunday lunch I have ever had. It was amazing. The meat melted in your mouth and the vegetables were so fresh. The service was amazing and Simon treated us like part of the family. We have visited the monk many times and it has never disappointed. It is a true and authentic pub/restaurant and I can’t recommend them enough.

Today is my wife’s birthday, we have a perfect experience in this restaurant perfect food and very good services we got, especially the steak and the risotto, it cooked in perfect time and presentation.I must introduce the chef he is come from Hong Kong, he have truly delivered what HK standard to us.I am so proud to be a Hongkongers！Perfect night for us and thank you!The Monk team!P.S I will recommend every Hong Kong friends in UK to visit this restaurant!

We have just been taken out for a surprise Sunday Lunch and have to say it was excellent. From the warm welcome, very attentive front of house service and excellent food. Our first visit but won't be our last.

Went there for my mum's birthday, it was an absolutely amazing experience. Staff was very nice, very thoughtful and friendly, the food was absolutely amazing and overall the atmosphere of the place ws very warm, casual and lovely. The food was delicious and presented beautifully, I had a linguini with salmon, the creamy sauce was complimented with droplets of caviar which complemented each other very well, the salmon was tasty and cooked to perfection. Really enjoyed the retro glasses and fun cocktail metal cups. Can't wait to visit again, and try desserts and other dishes!

Best experience in a restaurant in a very long time! Very attentive service throughout, knowledgeable staff, good wine knowledge they even offered us tasters of 2 different wines to let us choose from before ordering the whole bottle, couldn't fault the service. We shared a board of Italian meats, roasted veg, olives, mozzarella pearls and salad between 2 of us. The roasted veg which included some artichoke which elevated the dish and set us up for mains well. I had the herb crusted lamb which was rich and full of flavour, the veg that came with it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, we had some mint sauce on the side too which hit the spot. My friend had the sea bass with similar accompaniments and was impressed with his main too. Panna cotta for dessert was great too. Lovely meal, left very satisfied and full yet not bloated even after 3 courses. The wine was fantastic too. Will return soon and highly recommend 👌
