The Navigation Inn Barrow Upon Soar in Charnwood

Nice pub. Beers kept well, and good red wine. we are yet to try the food, but looked fantastic. Still feels like a pub which is nowadays quite rare.Overall, we will be back, hopefully on a regular basis.

After a while of not being here, being here was as welcoming as I ever remembered.Great outdoors area next to the canal creating a soothing, relaxing place after a longish walk.Nice drop of vino (Picpoul de Pinet) and the food looked smashing, didn't try it on this occasion but will do next visit.

Visited a few weeks ago as recommended by BIL and newly moved to Barrow Upon Soar. Lovely pub, great little garden right next to the canal so had views of the barges and boats sailing by. Only stayed to have drinks that Saturday but the food looked great! Will defo be back. A little gem for sure!

Lovely outdoor seating area especially if you are able to catch a riverside table.Good food - (veg lasagne very spicy) welcoming service, plenty of choice of drinks. Reasonable value.

Excellent food, lovely owner, dog friendly, welcoming atmosphere! Beautifully presented and tasting Lemon tart with chantilly cream, to finish a great afternoon!

Great place lovely atmosphere. Friendly faces to greet you . Hot tasty food great menu . Right on the water front of canel . I was on my own they were very welcoming . Thankyou .

Great waterside pub with outside space. Lots of steps to different areas/rooms, although flat access beside pub straight to the garden which is slabbed for wheelchair users. Also the toilets are accessed there. Lunch menu appeared a little Limited, 3 real ales on offer. Nice atmosphere. Only drawback is there's no car park.

Lovely canal side pub with pleasant helpful staff, nice food and decent lager in a pub which gas the same name as my canalside local. Twice visited now and if here again for a night will visit again 👍
