Came for a mother’s day outing with family for meal, and it has been amazing! the food was amazing, and amazing value for money! the restaurant was busy but with a good atmosphere, and the servers were all wonderful! so smiley and supportive of each-other which was clear to see, noah in particular was amazing, such a delightful young man, he has served us before and always been an absolute addition to our experience and he’s only 16! Would definitely book as to not be disappointed.Thanks!!

Beautiful pub! The food was great, they catered to everyone (vegan options mainly) and we truly felt looked after. Thank you for a lovely lunch. We will be returning again for another birthday celebration

Visited this supposedly great pub as it had been recommended by a friend and we were passing. It was mothers day but we arrived at 4.15pm to a completely deserted outdoor area so thought we would have a drink (wasn't expecting to be able to order food as it was mothers day) Not a sole was sitting outside at all and no tables had reserved signs on them . When I went inside to order drinks I was told that they werent serving walk ins at all as it was reserved tables only. I cannot for the life of me ever remember being told by a dead pub that I couldn’t buy a drink. To say I'm disappointed with the service is an understatement. The only positive from the visit was the young lady behind the bar as she was pleasant so I cant shoot the messenger .

On Sunday we had a really wonderful lunch. The food absolutely delicious!I have visited this venue many times over many years, & I believe this is quite possibly the best service I have received. Noah i believe was our servers name, and we can not thank him enough for his service, he was happy, engaging, polite and attentive & he is a real credit to the team!

Lovely country pub and restaurant. Great food, good menu selection.Service great. Easy to book a table on-line.In the summer, nice outside seating area.Large carpark. Easy access for wheelchairs if required.

This pub is by far one of the best around. Beautiful location and lovely interior. The food is amazing and has a great selection of beers, would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back soon!!!

Went here just after Christmas. And I have to say, It was really nice food. But the service was poor. Young girl with no knowledge of the menu or drinks. Seemed not to care or even try and find out information when we asked her questions. Just stared back at us blankly! One of us asked to come back tomorrow in the bar, and she said they would have to ring up to book... When we were literally sat in the restaurant... Really? To add to that, half the items on the Christmas menu were actually missing/out of stock. 3 stars.

Booked this in advance due to recommendation was really looking forward to it. Arrived on time waited to be seated. Nice atmosphere and welcoming ordered food and drinks. Didnt wait long for food to arrive. However it was cold had to ask for condiments apple sauce and gravy. Very disappointed in the roast potatoes not hot or crispy in fact hard. Veg was cold and looked like they had been microwaved. We booked for 1pm and left at approximately 1.30pm. Staff friendly and nice surroundings. Premium prices you expect a better class of dining. They did take 50 percent off the main meals but even so feel like we wasted our sunday after travelling a 60 mile round trip to visit.

Ive been here on 2 occasions before the pandemic and it was amazing! The atmosphere and staff were great. I visited the restaurant with my family after seeing they had a kids menu which looked decent.Such a shame and hate writing this but the service was not what i had before and definitely not up to scratch. The mains took a while to come out but once we had finished, we were kind of left and had to keep flagging down staff. Ive given it a 4 star but i wont be returning again for a very long time especially spending so much on a family meal, it wasn't the best.

Incredible. Had a fantastic steak with my wife and the waiter was lovely, very helpful accommodating to our requests. I think his name was Jamie or something starting with a J. Definitely recommend!
