Very Highly Recommended Bookshop.I ordered a book online and it arrived fast, well packed and with a beautiful complimentary book mark, and all at excellent value for money. Service does not get better than that.

Very disappointing, the staff member was very rude and patronising. The 'Antiques Centre' comprised of one dealer. The staff were unable and unwilling to offer any assistance regarding antiques.The book shop appeared well stocked!

Lovely well stocked bookshop, easy enough to find. Something for everyone, my bookworm daughter and I really enjoyed our visit today.

Excellent sélection of preloaded books in fantastic condition. They even stock some first editions! Staff were lovely and very welcoming.

Tina has been so helpful this week. I live overseas and had to cancel my visit to my daughter in Derby. Contacted Tina by email to arrange Christmas gifts yo be sent direct. Photos/offers by email, and Tina could not have done more to help. Gifts wrapped and sent and family disaster averted.Small bookshops can only survive by doing things that Amazon CANT do…and The Old Curiosity Bookshop wins without a doubt.
