Love this place! Nice local pub very friendly landlord and landlady! Nice atmosphere!

We used this pub as a social and it was perfect, we hired out half the pub and then had an open bar. Was absolutely no issue and the staff were lovely. If you want a pub for a social, the Paget arms is your place

Always an excellent pint in a warm and friendly local. Awesome pool table, dartboard and jukebox, plenty of laughs and the gorgeous Clyde is the icing on the cake. Many thanks to Dave and Kim for the wonderful service.

Dave, call yourself a business owner? I am simply amazed how you are.Absolutely disgusted by your customer service, if you could even call it that. I witnessed threatening and uncalled behaviour towards young gentleman, offering to fight them.Please whatever you do, no not go to this pub! Unless you want a fight with the owner of course…

Sadly I have to give a one star. It wouldn't let me give a zero. Been there twice before and enjoyed my time there until tonight. Came in with my partner and before we could order the Landlord said he wasn't serving us. We asked why? The reply was that we allegedly used his name in vain ( last night) in the local Chinese to ask for discount. That didn't happen. We were not allowed to defend ourselves. I don't even know his name. Calls himself a landlord? Bad customer service. Wouldn't go back there if it was the last pub in Loughborough. Shame.😡

Great pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Student friendly, huge beer garden and great food (especially the burgers). The landlord and landlady (and their dog Clyde) are what make this place as great as what it is. They make the effort to personally get to know their regulars and go above and beyond. As former students of Loughborough and now locals to the town this is unquestionably our favourite place to go and Dave always makes a big fuss over us when we enter!

Such a great pub and atmosphere. Pre COVID the pub was lifeless and quiet with very little business. We ran an open mic here successfully for 5 years and watched various different landlords let the pub slowly decline so we moved on. As a local we still go in and now, in 2021 we've met Dave, Kim and Clyde and the welcome we've received is unparalleled, we don't have the room for an open mic anymore as the pub can get brilliantly busy. There are now games machines, a Juke box and pool table. The beer garden has been upgraded and is a comfortable place to be, especially in the summer. The hard work that has gone into bringing life back into this pub is clear to see and most evident when we visit at the weekends to find a real buzz happening. The partnership they have going with local Indian takeaway Asari is an excellent way to get some food while having a drink. We're really pleased to see the life that Dave and Kim have brought back to The Paget Arms, thanks guys.

Absolutely amazing staff, vibes and drinks! Every time we go we are treated like family! They always make us feel welcome and recommend drinks we'll like of we can't decide 🙈 great place! xXx
