Pretty pub with a large beer garden. Very helpful staff. Very large, sheltered beer garden. Pub grub food - tasty and generous portions.

Food was very nice, staff were down to earth. Pub atmosphere and very good price.

Lovely food good menu plus pie night's and steak night's good price's, well kept beer and ales, friendly people always welcoming busy little local pub. Advise booking for the weekend. Love the Pied Bull

Lovely, friendly local pub with nice food

A great pub with fantastic food, we were here again tonight and two more excellent meals. This time we had a pie from pie night and the pork belly - both superb. Previously we have had steak night (perfectly cooked), pizzas (huge but so good), burgers, sea bass, short ribs as well,as special meals at Christmas and Valentines. The food is always excellent, cooked perfectly and such good value. We will continue to return and would recommend it to anyone.

A lovely old fashioned interior, clean and a warm environment. Good beer and selection. Reasonably sizes car park. A nice place to visit.

Just had a very enjoyable evening at the Pied Bull, eaten far too much but with such good food at great value it's hard not to! Thursday night is gourmet burger night although the standard menu is still available. Choose your burger, veggie, lamb, beef or chicken. Choose your fries, your sauce all for £5 and then add extra toppings for 50p each bacon, stilton, cheddar, onion rings etc and decide whether to add an extra burger, beef chilli or pulled pork for an extra £1.25... bargain!! It really is delicious and filling. We've been to Pie night on a Monday too and have been equally impressed with the quality of food. Can't fault it, nice pint too. Was a bit chilly as the heating had broken down but that sort of thing can't be helped. Nice pub, food, beer and staff.
