Lovely tea room with great cake, coffee, sausage rolls and staff

·

Lovely little spot, plenty of seating upstairs and down. Lovely character in the ceilings and a nice coal fire in the middle. Also allows dogs.A little caution on the head height but well signed. Definitely will return.

Just popped in for a coffee and cake. Pleasant greeting, prompt service and an awesome cappuccino with Belgian chocolate flakes. Had equally lovely cake. This place is a must if you are in Newtown .

Really nice tea room with lovely atmosphere and a log fire. The staff seem friendly and the food is good. What makes this tea room even better is the fact that dogs are allowed inside 😊 also really like that all of the staff wear masks so that the customers feel safe. Would definitely recommend

Excellent dog friendly café on the main road through Newtown Linford. Fresh cakes and biscuits, great tea and coffee. Friendly and welcoming. Not a huge menu, but always done well. Highly recommended.

Really disappointed. Arrived just before 4.15 and waited in the queue to double check they were still serving for drinks inside as signs and websites differ. The two people in front were asked if they were drinking in or not. Speaking to our friends who were outside the door, I explained that we'll be fine as they are offering drinks in to others. This would have been overheard by the barrister. No one was behind us in the queue, but as we approached she spun round and stated no more drinking in to the server. No apology, acknowledgement or discussion with us and the poor server looked embarrassed. We politely asked if we could drink in but her quick response of 'we have to draw the line somewhere' made it quite clear. Her manner was rude. There were very few people in, all the tables were clear. I can't help but wonder if it was the presence of the pushchair and children. Totally understand there are rules but empathy and manners speak volumes

Plenty of out door seating, some covered, as well as indoor tables, reasonable menu with some gluten free options. Great cakes. Good friendly service, and dog friendly with water bowls and dog treats to purchase. Touch expensive, but then that's to be expected in Newtown Linford I suppose.

Lovely food and good service. Will go again.😊

·

Currently open for takeaway 9.30-3.30. All very organised, one-way system etc. Grab some food and drink and eat in Bradgate Park over the road.

·

Lovely garden at the rear with comfy seating. Excellent food and service. Breakfast served until 11:30, lunch, snacks and beverages. Well worth a stop to enjoy.
