Welcome was great. Table sorted for us, as we did have one wheelchair.Food as always was superb.The only downside, was once we were seated, no-one came back to see us and so we only had one round of drinks, where as we would probably have had a couple at least.

We both turn up for breakfast every other week to greeted by smile from a friendly Lyn and her staff. This is the best breakfast in Leicestershire by far... Great choice of items ( sausages are to die for) all cooked to perfection. This is the ideal place to come if you want to get the day started and the best value any where ...keep up the good work.

Quick service, great food. Had a table at 4:15. James made sure everything was ok with my food, got me a box to take some home, and was a great server. Not sure on the name of the lady that took my order when I first got there but she was very helpful and welcoming.

Superb meat/poultry as ever, but the *pork* was especially well prepared this visit : the spinach in cream sauce was perfection - always a top choice when available. MANY thanks to the chefs.Also, good to have a server with an actual *personality*, who doesn't therefore need to rely on some Company-trained 'script'!Special thanks to Blake, therefore.

Ordered the sharing mini sausages with 3 different glazes/tastes, when they arrived in 3 bowls, I asked which was which and he didn’t know, we each tried 1 from each and we all said they tasted the same, I asked the lady in charge who was seating people and was told about the 3 glazes, but she didn’t do anything about it, I mentioned it again when our server asked about our meal and I said we were very disappointed about the sausages and why we didn’t eat them all, but again nothing was done or an apology given, I mentioned this when I was paying and again fell on deaf ears, no acknowledgement of the complaint or apology given, a waste of money, not what we were expecting, won’t bother again! Main roast dinner, lovely as always

We came for breakfast, food was all cooked perfectly. The member of staff who greeted us on arrival was friendly warm but professional. A young lady called Sammie. Even though it was busy the used plates were cleared quickly. Over all a great visit. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Went out with the family and had a great time. We all had the carvery and everyone enjoyed their food. The beef was a bit chewy but this was the cut not the chef. Great late afternoon treat.

Lovely service, I had a prawn sandwich and had roast potatoes on the aide with gravy as they didn't have lettuce in at the time. I was more than happy with the upgrade with no addition to price. Smiles around from the 5 of us! Really great thanks to the staff for an amazing lunch after a hard mornings graft.

Could have been a little more generous with the meat it was carved very thinly and was in bits on the plate plenty of veg but serving spoons were very warm to the touch. My wife ordered a soft drink and requested no ice when we got back to the table the drink was there with ice the server must have been deaf it has gone downhill since we last visited

Greeted on the carvery serving with a rube member of staff that’s after I wait 20 mins to be served. It wasn’t even busy. Staff just looked at me and walked by me The meat on the counter was dry I should off just walked away at this point .My boyfriend Decided to have beef due to it looking the best on the counter beef The beef was served with the string on it good job it wasn’t my little girls dinner . We never seen any staff or they Didn’t even ask if our meals was ok . I had to go find someone to pay the bill. I’m a blue light card holder and show the girl the app she said that there would be a code I show her wear it said show your card .At this point I just said don’t worry about it I will never be coming back hear again. If I could rate it no stars I would .Really unhappy with the Quality of food the time it took and the staff rudeness. As for in the kitchen I thought they was having a disco the music was that loud I totally understand cooking listening to music is good but it didn’t need to be that loud . After we finally payed and was walking to my car in the bar area was loads off staff all talking and I could see some had food . There was tables around the Restaurant that’s needed cleaning .If anyone is thinking about going hear I would recommend to think again .Iv been hear for years and always loved it I don’t know what’s going on with this place at the moment as I said Iv been three time now and ever time there’s been something wrong.
