Only popped in for a short time waiting for a friend. It was mid morning Christmas eve and had tea and toast. This place is a typical cafe/restaurant in a traditional style, very quaint and a step back in time. Proper cutlery and crockery, and good old fashioned service. Would highly recommend it. Friendly staff and a clean toilet.

Went in with my daughter today. Had a lovely panini and really enjoyed it. Emma & Bernie are so friendly & we had a lovely Chat. Their afternoon teas look amazing and they sell proper homemade cakes. Thanks ladies x

Very nice place for food and drink. Whether it's a sandwich, cake, or just a cappuccino.The two ladies there, Emma and Berni, ( or is it Bertie?) are lovely, and will listen to you waffle on!Great place to visit.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my girls celebrating my friends birthday, they made it more special by putting a candle on the cake we order. Fresh made sandwiches and even catered for the fussy ones( that being me). Scones are lovely and fresh too and all the cakes look amazing and taste even better.Thank you so much ladies. We definitely be back in the future.

Owners are lovely & friendly. Ordered breakfast & it did take a long time , despite them not being busy. Was a nice breakfast , but not keen on the sausage as it was a bit mushy. Didn’t like the coffee at all I’m afraid to say. Will come back to try other things though as nice place.

A very dear friend surprised us with an Afternoon Tea delivered to our door. It was such a wonderful surprise and the contents were plentiful and delicious. If you are thinking of having a treat or treating someone else then this is the perfect gift . Hand delivered by a lovely lady. Everything was so fresh and in recyclable boxes too.

I had my baby shower here yesterday having never been to the tea room before. They were so friendly and accommodating. Had flowing tea and coffee throughout and the afternoon tea was delicious! The decor is lovely in itself so we didn’t have to do much to dress it up and I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to to hire for an occasion or just tea cake.Thank you again to the lovely ladies who made my day special!
