Very impressed! The batter was lovely and crisp, the chips were tasty and the curry sauce was really nice. I would go as far to far to say it was the best fish and chips I’ve had in Leicester!

Old fashioned friendly chippy serving good honest freshly prepared food at fair prices, seems a simple formula really but how do so many get it so wrong, i live in groby but well worth the extra mile.

Beautiful food! My husband and daughter are both coeliac, both love the gluten free fish and chips! It is hard to find places that cater for gluten free but William Waltons has various gluten free options. Very friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere and overall amazing food!

Decided to try this place tonight as we had such a terrible experience of Anstey Chippy. It was easy to find, well presented and had traditional style. Prices were better than the other fish bar in the village as well.The most important bit is the food though. The chips were cooked in nice fresh oil, the batter was crisp and the fish was tasty. We had cod and chips and it was delicious. Will come back soon.
