Very flavourful cuisine. Absolutely amazing with great portion sizes in most dishes. The only downfalls are the excessive amounts of oil in the curries and how I could only be given one portion of naan for the prices they charge!

Food was great but not much of an English food like steak so if you have someone with that wants something like a steak not great but for me 9/10

Shocking customer service ordered at 7.15 its now 10.15 and still waiting for the missing items of the order main item rice and one of the mains. Told yes it's busy it is new years eve!!! Really then don't take so many orders and make sure they are correct when sent out, this food is not cheap!! Mine has been sat waiting for rice ect, only place for it is the bloody bin! Happy New Yeat Ashoka you won't be getting an order from us again!

Our order was £72.50 and our order was missing items which included the starters rice and mains. When we rang up the owner accused us of lying about our missing items. The items missing accounted up to £20 so we only received only £50 of our order. The owner claimed to have packed the order himself and insisted that we are lying about the missing items. We are not happy.

Recently moved from Surrey after going to the same Indian Restaurant for 36 years did not think we could match it in Chesterfield. Ashoka have proved us wrong. Amazing food, lovely friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will definitely be regulars.

Very good curry house. Small, friendly atmosphere and excellent food cooked to your taste. I like extra zing to my chicken tilka massala. Duly done and greatly enjoyed.

Went here in the of chance they had a table (without booking and on a Saturday evening!). They were able to accommodate us! Very tasty food, I ordered one of the chef specials, very pleased with my choice. My partner offered a simple Pasanda. Both we outstanding. Clean and simple layout of the restaurant. Would definitely recommend and I would love to visit again!
