Poor only 1 member of staff. Poor lad ...disabled customers urinating in the car park,.at the side of cars. Not what I was expecting . I money was spent on this pub , it could be lovely, the first thing as my daughter an I noticed was a very strong smell on cigarette smoke.

After going to the pub tonight and going to the bar to order a pint I was told that they are not allowed to serve at the bar because of Covid rules ( totally agree )but she would come to me for my order. The bar lady asked where I would be sitting and I pointed and said outside. She replied by saying I will be out very soon.Whilst sat outside a gentleman asked if I’d been served to which I replied yes the lady behind the bar said she would be out very soon. After 20-30 mins and also standing at the door to show I was still outside I gave in and left.Really not happy and will probably never go again.

Lovely local pub with good food and a lively atmosphere. Great for family as they have a pool table for kids. Food comes on time and staff are always polite. However if your wanting a quiet pub then this isn't for you.

Not a pub chain with set menu, warmed up meals it's does Proper Home cooked Food not many do this. I had liver and onions hard to find came with veg and yummy gravy reasonably priced comfortable seating, decor not to Gastro pub standards but welcoming enough clean tidy. Will visit again soon.

Best place for good food in Chesterfield. Home cooked menu similar to wetherspoons but a trillion times better. Friendly staff, and customers. If the occasional swear word offends then maybe not for you but fabulous atmosphere as far as I am concerned.Even though not that local I am a bit of a regular.

Very slow service was waiting over 45 minutes for 3 meals. and wasn't that busy. My lasagne came with peas and should av had salad. Everything seemed a little over cooked. And was a little expensive. Won't b rushing back.
