Thursday 4.30. large cod, chips, mushy peas, curry sauce. Really good. Fish was huge and all food was hot and tasty. Making a regular meal choice from now.

More often than not the food isn't bad. Unfortunately this evening our family were very disappointed with the quality. Fish seemed like it had been sat hours and the chips just didn't seem to be cooked fully as not only couldn't stick a fork in most of them and seemed very rubbery others were just hard inside.

Food nice as always however chips peas and fishcake £5.20 alittle strong. Questioned price but told that was right even though £4.20 on board. Shame. As I can't reply to your comments only edit like you have i asked for a portion of chips with peas I don't need cctv I was there and so was you. We can rattle on about it forever but I'm no longer interested.

Nestled in the middle of the old village, tidy and well kept, a bit of a time capsule back to the 60's. Pleasant and polite service, and that extra care taken in the food preparation. Lovely chips!...

Glad to be working again in the area so I could go back to the best chippy in Chesterfield, the chips are really good as is the menu keep meaning to try the deep fried Mars bar but all ways forget, the staff and owner are all ways pleasant and polite, Top chippy keep up the good work 😀

A good local chippy, keeping with tradition with some modern touches.A traditional, local fish and chip shop. Serving fish & chips, would you believe.Also some extras like battered mars barFriendly staffAccepts modern payments like Apple pay, or good old silver and bronze (Cash) ;-)Reasonable priced!Just off high street, so not bad for parkingCons£5 for haddock, could of been a little bit more. Other than that no, all good. :-)No home delivery, that I could see on just eat or own website, social media.------Overerall a good experience, with a friendly service, good tasting food (fish, chips & mushy peas) and a reasonable price @ £7 something.

This is an outstanding Chippy !The owner & team are always engaging every time we go in. So sincere & warm to every one. It says something when my 6 year old daughter, coming home from her school disco notices this.However the food is exceptional. The best fish I have ever had- fish & chips cooked to perfection in a way only real experience can deliver. Totally brilliant.Well done & thank you for, Brim Chippy is No 1
