Beautiful food, such lovely friendly service.

Lovely cod fish, chips, and mushy peas. Generous portion sizes. Lovely staff who were very helpful. Parking was rather difficult, especially during dark nights. I had to park round the back, which was quite scary if I had been alone.

I thought it was slightly over priced. I had the oap special which included tea or coffee. But the meal could have been hotter and why don't these restaurants warm the plates before serving. Which would keep the food stay warm longer simples

This place is amazing, eat in or take away. It is just brilliant. The staff are awesome, hard working and friendly. I can’t speak highly enough of it. I use to live really close, I’ve move to the other side of chesterfield but I still go here

My husband and I really enjoyed our visit, great selection for those requiring gluten free food, the food was delicious and we took our leftovers home for later 😊

Very nice indeed after my friends recommended us to go! Very good food portion sizes served. My friends especially my American boyfriend who visited me that very day after a very long haul flight from the US absolutely loved the atmosphere in Chesters the first day he arrived in UK, we all loved the fish, chips and mushy peas! We thought the quality of service was great value for money.

Possibly the best fish and chips I have ever eaten! Just popped in for fish and chips on the way home to Nottingham after a walk in the Peak District - The service was great and I love that you are asked if you want to order fish as soon as you walk in so your food is made fresh, Amazing!!!

Have been a customer for a while now, and it seems the service and quality of the food is slowly going down hill. Tonight we handed over £9.80 for 'Large Cod, and chips with 2 sides' to split between the 2 of us. Well, my idea of 'large' is definitely different to the guys at Chester's. The fish was more like a battered sausage and only a little larger than the chips. The chips where cooked but hard and dry. To say I'm disappointed is a huge understatement.(The photo shows half the 'Large Cod')
