Went for Sunday roast cant fault it and the beef was beautiful, didn't have to wait long and plenty of food to eat. Went at 1200hrs and got in but any later would recommend booking.

Oak beamed interior and a nice sunny extension to the rear.Bar games on the other side with a great pool table and darts.Really great way to s poo end as Sunday afternoonRevisited, still good food with all the family fed and happy for 8 pounds each!

My beautiful local pub which is steeped in history. There are various displays around the pub relating to the history of it and its relation to the famous Revolution House next door. You will always receive a warm welcome here. The range of drinks and ales are really good and their Guinness is really well kept (for those guinness lovers who know their drink). A nice selection of bar munchies to choose from and an amazing chef on site too. The meals are superb, real home cooked food. A good choice available with cracking offers on making it real value for money. You can dine in the conservatory or the pub itself which is spacious so you never feel cramped or "on show" eating your meal. Talking to the bar staff they are starting to do some Live music on a friday night and also have a jam session on a sunday night - so free entertainment too. I must get over there more and would recommend if your around that way, you do too.

Sunday lunch absolutely amazing as always 👌 always consistent never had a bad meal there yet and gone for years for Sunday lunches, evening & lunch meals and been several times for Christmas Dinner over the years x

Had brother-in-law's 60th birthday do here,staff very good & friendly, catering was bang on.We had to see to our own music with battery power as anything pluggable had to have been PAT tested, it was a bit hard to hear the music from our setup.
