Coffee Bean Nation in Chesterfield

Absolutely appalling the staff are so rude and standoffish, the chef was so rude and abrupt about the food when we said that it wasn’t very professionally presented and no one stated that the chicken wasn’t plain and when he came and spoke to us it, he became stroppy, don’t get me wrong if the chicken has flavouring on it state it instead of customer receiving it and then complaining. The lady who dealt with our bill was lovely though despite the upset

Staff were great and very friendly but was expecting better given the reviews and the relatively high price. The Americanos we had were very weak with zero crema. Panini was nice but the tuna sandwich we had was absolutely caked in cheap margarine. Seems to be a Chesterfield thing as we had similar in another cafe.

The food here is amazing great sized portions top quality produce very friendly staff. Specially the girl who served me and my mum. I had a steak cob with homemade chunky chips and a soya milk hot chocolate with vanilla syrup. Was banging food 10/10 defo go again

Wow what a disappointment after reading previous reviews I was expecting good things. 2 stars as my husbands choice turned out OK. Mine on the other hand was abysmal, £8.95 for the most sorry looking omelette I have ever had.The menu stated , Fluffy 3 egg omelette with filling options. I choose mushrooms and they were the only thing giving any depth to the dish. There definitely was no 3 egg fluff it was so thin and contained no substance at all. Half of a tomato sat forlornly on the plate. The first time ever, we got food before our drink which arrived later, there was an apology due to lack of staff. No enquiring when paying, if we had enjoyed our meal, perhaps due to staff shortage too.

Went in for Brunch, very helpful staff, food was very good.I had the ploughman's which was lovely, my wife had a sandwich which came with salad, coleslaw and crisp.Both were really good.The cakes to take out looked yummy also 😋

I enjoyed the food and drinks. I have been cafe hopping around Chesterfield for the last two weeks, this place is one of the good ones.

Visited today during a busy Saturday lunchtime. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and hot drinks were good. We both had Pie of the Day but the pastry was overcooked and hard on the top, and the chips, peas and gravy were not hot. Probably wasn't helped by the fact the meals were served on cold plates (a pet hate of mine when having a hot meal). We weren't asked how the food was, either during the meal or when we paid, which is very unusual these days. Hopefully this was just an off day at No 10. We'll give it another try in a few weeks time.

Very cute little cafe. Friendly staff, and they have a good variety of syrups for your coffee which is nice!

Amazing portions loads of filling in the toasties,lovely home cooked chips,great hot coffee,clean nice surroundings and good service,above average prices but its worth it.

Went here in a busy lunch time, will definitely come back. The carrot and walnut cake was lovely and more than I was expecting. The toffee sundae was very nice but the fudge/toffee pieces were a bit tough and hard. It was all a bit on the pricey end as 2 cold drinks + those desserts were around £18. The décor was very comforting and I could easily spend my time in there chatting.
