Dolphin Fish Bar in Chesterfield

Asked for Cod and Chips. Saw the person who took my order mouth "haddock" to the person doing the serving. Zero stars. Won't EVER go back. The chips were horrid anyway.

Ok, so we had to wait a while for chips but when they came they were excellent. Sausage and gravy really nice too. Will be visiting again *****

Very friendly when I visited on Friday around 7pm, but very quiet and fish bar up the road had queues outside. Perhaps this is due to them only just being open

Great food but I had explosive diarrhoea afterwards must be because of the explosive ingredients they get from ISIS

Well worth the portion of food fora great value

Gave me wrong sauce and the fish cakes was burnt never going there again

Decided to try here today as under new management. Won't ever go back. Husband ordered a mini fish and family chips. We got a micro fish that wouldn't even fill a bap, and the chips were a standard size portion made of cold leather! Worst we've ever had.

Went last night well impressed with the food and service got to be the best chippy in the area used to go to north sea but after going here I be going to dolphin regular prices are good too I had a special kebab and chips I was expecting a lot off grease but it was really nice and not greasy lovely owners only think I could suggest is maybe advertise what’s in the special kebab apart from that excellent

Went last night had a Yorkshire fishcake special and it was the best I’ve had for years it was so good I’ve been tonight and tried there large battered sausage special was just as good and the service was really good they were shocked we were back so soon but with food and service like that your gonna return

done all the chip shops in chesterfield. since this as swapped hands this is a 5 star chip shop. not greasy as all . fish chip and peas to die for excellent. would recommend. ian and ang chesterfield
