Amazing steaks at The Galleon Steak House. Really friendly and accommodating staff. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place.I thought their steaks was good, then after trying a burger I’ll never look back! Also, the onion rings are just out of this world.I’ve only ever had deliveries, never actually been to the restaurant. The only problem I’ve been had is when they forgot to deliver a portion of sweet potato fries and after a quick phone call, they was on their way and piping hot!Definitely looking forward to visiting the restaurant some time.

I've been in the UK. FOR 3years and the GALLEON STEAK HOUSE IS THE BEST RESTAURANT IN Chesterfield and surrounding areas. The staff is friendly helpful and fast.if there were 6 stars I wouldGive them 10. The food is fantastic, the meat is what you order.*****

I can not recommend this place enough. Perfect service, steak cooked to perfection and well priced. The staff were all professional and friendly and you were able to have a laugh and joke with them. 👍

We normally come here quite often and the food is great. The start was good although scallops were rubbery but I ate them.The steaks… now this is where it get bad. I ordered medium raw my wife ordered well done. Hers came out still running round the plate we sent it back 5 times before giving up and leaving.We did offer to pay for start and drinks but the manager was so embarrassed she would only let us pay for the drink.I will come back as this has been the only bad experience but it has knocked my confidence in the chef

Came here to eat a couple of months ago. Didn't have long to eat as had to catch a train but the staff were really professional and were able to serve us quite promptly so I could catch my train. Good food and professional service which made it a very pleasant experience. Thank you to the waitresses and chefs on the day.

Met friends for a catch up over a delicious meal. Nice ambience - lively but not too much to hold a pleasant conversation. Good selection of gins for a pre dinner drink and an excellent menu with plenty of choice for everyone. Between us we had 4 different starters and 3 different mains - 2 of us had the hanging kebabs - and everyone enjoyed their choice. 3 courses plus a drink came to just over £30 each. Definitely recommended.

Such a lovely place to stay. The restaurant is very welcoming! Stayed here for the night as was in the area and it's such a amazing place. The food was so delicious and the staff were very friendly! 😀😀😀

I was really impressed by this restaurant as I'm not a local and hadn't been there before - you never know what the foods quite going to be like or their outside dining area 😕 but it was lovely! One of the most enclosed/ outside spaces I've been in ha, great canopy over your tables with the offer of what looked like very comfortable blankets of you were cold! I only had a starter as wasn't that hungry at the time, salmon and king prawn pasta dish which for a starter, was huge! (Which was actually gladly welcomed lol) my friend had a monster Sunday lunch which was devoured nearly as quickly as it arrived! His deep fried brie also looked 🤤 and the staff were so, so pleasant! Even letting me come back in to quickly use their bathroom en route back to my apartment... Definitely would go back and try their other dishes - everything that came out of the kitchen to other tables, looked and smelled delish! 😍

Amazing place to stay! I felt like I'd walked into the Buckingham Palace ☺ extremely high spec and the staff are really polite and welcoming! I'd definitely recommend to anyone who would like to stay in luxury!
