I came here as a last minute thing, the manager was lovely, very welcominging, down to earth and professional, nothing was too much for her, she got me bus times and made sure I had everything I needed, I was shown where her door was and was told to come get her if I needed anything at any time, which I did and even when I rung the bell to her door at silly o'clock she was still happy to help!The room was very clean and I had a good night's sleep, very quiet tooI would defiantly recommend this hotelThank you for a pleasant stay *****

Sunday carvery, not bad, certainly good value for money. Best of all you pay for what you can eat; they offer large, medium and small, to suit all appetites and the small was generous. Parking is a problem on site, but plenty of parking across the road if you drive around the rear of opposite buildings.

Very friendly staff who welcomed me by my first name when walked in, I was only staying one night, room was basic but clean, I noticed on other reviews they all mention how hit the room was, mine was roasting too so I TURNED THE RADIATOR DOWN, simple. The evening meal was excellent and nice and hot, turkey and ham pie with chips, veg and gravy and plenty of it too. Not a bad place at all.
