The three stars are awarded for the politeness of our waitress, the location and one of the dishes (all day breakfast was good but the toastie was disappointing). Unfortunately we were initially told we had a 20 minute wait but this became 1hr 15min! The waitress was very calm and polite when reminded but the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. I suggested some compensation/reduction and we got a mug of tea OR a piece of cake. Nevertheless, great location, good value and clean throughout but avoid holidays and sunny days!

Very nice, friendly, good snacks, though this time I just had a drink & ice cream. Canal shop has good souvenirs + 2nd hand bookshop

My families favorite place. Great views of the canal. Good coffee and cakes x fry up isn't half bad either

I would like to see the aluminium drinks cans separated from the general waste bin located by the entrance.Surely in this day and age this would be normal practice, obviously not clued up on recycling. So cannot award anymore stars.Other than that ok

Enjoyed a very nice bacon butty and coffee. Other meals and drinks are available. Sat outside undercover next to the canal.

£2.95 For a bog standard cheese and onion toastie ,£3.95 if you want it with salad!!!!! Bit grubby inside, but tea was OK and location is lovely, but don't bother if you want something to eat other places do it so much better for the same price.

Great little cafe. Popped in during a bike ride Had a nice latte and toasted teacake. A couple of tables inside and plenty of seating outside which I opted for even though it was cold for the lovely view of the canal.

Great location for a coffee and cake with Boo the dog. Can recommend the drizzle lemon cake. An enormous chunk and delicious.

Fantastic scones fresh out of the oven. Just what we needed after a 14 mile walk along the Trans pennine and Chesterfield canal.

Lovely place to stop for a cuppa. Great value and really nice coffee, drinks and food. Highly recommend.
