McDonald's in Chesterfield

It’s a really nice place, very clean and tidy. I went there for breakfast and it wasn’t busy at all.Staff are really nice and friendly.However, the kiosk was a bit temperamental with the touchscreen and it took me ages to place my order. Managers really need to look into this.The way parking is organised it’s not the best because there is a one-way system going all the way around Cineworld in order to get to McDonald’s parking.After the small roundabout, drive slowly and take your time reading the signs. It’s highly unlikely that you’ll end up somewhere else, but what can happen is that you missed the turn for the car park And you end up in drive-through, at which point it’s already too late because it’s past the entry for the parking.Then you will have to go back to the little roundabout turn all the way around the one-way system and make sure you turn into the entry point to the left.I’ve been here for about 20 minutes now and I thought at least 20 confused Driver is missing their turn.

Clearly yesterday evening had an issue with insufficient staff, used drive through, all car holding bays being utilised and girl directed us to use a "Disabled Bay". Never illegally used one in my life, so parked in a convenient location near front door and walked out to await order. Made a verbal complaint to duty manager to request girl to be informed not to suggest disabled bays? Hope it gets took on board?

Where do I start? As soon as you turn in you're funnelled into a one way system around a cinema that you cant get out of.I'm not saying it took ages but I turned the radio on after I was served and was shocked to find out that Terry Waite had been released from captivity, America had voted in a black president and Keith Richards was still alive.I went to the drive thru but I didn't realise I had to drive thru Wales to order.I ordered a chicken deluxe, but they'd run out, so I had a Big Mac meal with extra chicken nuggets because id grown even more hungry in the queue. Imagine my surprise when the bill (£9.58) was almost as much as I paid for my first car. The nuggets alone cost more than the last Big Mac meal I bought. And a barbecue dip was extra.I pulled into a parking space to eat. There were no chicken nuggets in my bag and the strawberry shake was chocolate.Did I go back and complain? No I didn't. I'm going on holiday in September and I don't want to miss it queueing in a car park in Chesterfield counting trains as they pass by.The food was OK.

Very clean restaurant. Workers are very attentive and quick at getting orders done so we barely even waited, only about 2 to 3 minutes until they brought our food out.

Derby Road McDonald's. Good parking available, plenty of indoor seating. Toilets are usually a bit neglected. Drive thru works well.I'm avoiding this particular site for a few weeks because I had cheeseburgers from here twice last week. The first time I thought a bit of mustard had got onto my burger as it had a slightly tangy unusual taste to it?That night I had really bad stomach ache.The second time I noticed the same strange taste so assumed that they had changed the ingredients as it was unlikely to be mustard twice and it was a lot stronger in the centre of the burger.Again I had bad stomach ache a few hours later.A couple of days later I went to the clay Cross site, had cheeseburger and it tasted totally normal. Today I went to West bars and again, totally normal. I don't know what is wrong with the ones from Derby Road but I won't be eating from there for a couple of weeks.

Great ! It’s really clean, the food was fresh and came quickly and the girl who was working tonight greeted us on the way in, brought us our food and was really friendly, took our trays and said goodbye when we left, really good service ! I looked for a name badge but she didn’t have one- quite young and blondish brown hair in a ponytail- manager give her a pay rise ! Best McDonald’s I’ve had for ages, if ever. I even wrote a review 😂

Actual customers don't seem to matter to the staff here. After ordering food on the screen because they were not serving at till and screens not working properly we waited over 30 mins for our "fast food' and watching the staff as they prepared others meals, all delivery orders, we decided to ask for our money back. Needless to say the staff were ",polite" about it, won't be going back there in a hurry

Shocking!!!!Staff refused to serve me at the till so had to use those stupid screens which wasn't working properly so the same member of staff had to come over to sort it out, surely it would have been easier all round to just serve me at the till??Waiting almost 30 minutes for so called fast food as McDelivery obviously takes priority. Staff just kept saying they were short staffed; there was at least a dozen of them working, maybe if they weren't all walking round like brain dead zombies and picked up the pace just a little they wouldn't have had people waiting so long.To top it off I then saw a member of staff pick up discarded fries that had been sat on the counter for God only knows how long and put them back in with the fresh fries. It was at this point that I asked for my money back and to cancel my order and the little girl behind the counter gave me lip like a spoilt toddler.Please don't blame the customer because your staff are slow, incompetent and have no knowledge of basic food hygiene

Used the self service screens as always, i prefer the self service approach most times, a very welcome edition over the last few years. The meal was good, but the Big Mac was not hot enough, only warm. As a McDonalds best seller i was surprised. Maybe the old Big Mac is losing its popularity and waiting out in the cold. The Fries were perfectly hot and salted, the highlight of the meal.
