4 of us booked for Sunday lunch. Very busy when we arrived. We were busy catching up but then realised no-one had been to take our order. Caught someone's attention. Said we were ready to order everything. Ordered drinks and 4 Sunday lunches to be told none left. Explained we had booked for Sunday lunch. Went off to check and came back to confirm we could have it. Excellent choices of wine as recommended. Realised at end of meal that none of them has been served with green beans. One of the servings of beef was very chewy and inedible. Explained this and price of one meal taken off bill. We were each given a taster of a new dessert to try and it was fabulous. Ordered Bailey's bruelee and cheeseboard for 3. Excellent selection of cheeses and dips, bruelee fantastic. Coffees and another bottle of excellent wine. Would I go back - yes. Would I have the Sunday lunch - no. The issues were dealt with quietly and professionally, hence a 4 marking.

Such a shame that this place isn't what it used to be.*sent two emails to book, no reply...*the place is in need of good clean, don't look at the ceilings.*service, good and bad but had to do alot of asking.*food - 4star, bar an very undercooked steak which they did re-do.*sticky tables, again needs a good clean and an manager on sitewouldn't return

Great Food, great ambiance , staff very accommodating & friendly. Booked last minute but able to get in .. table of 4 for my birthday .. 🎂🎉💕

Food was superb, would highly recommend. Pasta and pizza all tasted like they had been made fresh onsite.Was very busy so would recommend booking. The atmosphere inside was great. We had a really good evening.Lots of choices for Veggies.

Food was good. Waiting staff were diligent. Dining experience was good but could easily be excellent with a bit more effort to deliver a first class service.

Menu choice:This had a very refined menu that reflected in the quality of the food that came out from the kitchen. Serving a table of 14 at the same time with no issue.Thete was a vegetarian option although the one produced on the night was somewhat burnt on the bottom and was slightly blend in flavour.Service Please:Upon arrival the service was a little delayed but this was a christmas menu and can be expected. There is a bar available which is upstairs for you to get a drink while you wait.The staff was very accommodating and for the most part it felt welcoming. Some staff seemed stressed and less happy with delivering a good service.Affordability:Great quality for the price but in terms of Affordability it depends on your budget. This is not a mcdonalds menu; however, I found this was only slightly above a chain pub menu price but the quality was much better.Accessibility:Easy access from the ground floor but toilets are upstairs on the second floor. The bar is also on the second floor while the table Service is downstairs but you can order drinks from the dining table. Just beware that if you do require assisted mobility this could be a problem for you.Extended family (pets): No pets unfortunately but this is more a bistro, so take a night off and get the pet sitter in, and relax and enjoy yourself.Conclusion:Great menu choice and for the best part the food was delicious and well worth the price tag. The service was really good with only the odd member of staff seeming to be less than enthusiastic. Remember Accessibility might be an issue for those who are in assisted mobility. Not a good experience. No starsNo email sent on confirmation of the order insipte of a request after booking.Our order, which we had reserved, was eaten by someone else so we had to spot order what there was.The food quality was very less and very pricey.The tables were / are sticky with grease. My clothes / skin got stuck multiple times on the table.£5 service was added / charged but we were not informedprior to our reservation.Good points? none

Lovely restaurant, food was fantastic. Gnocchi was gorgeous. Only improvement would be a little more personality or smiles from the wait staff

Lovely classy decor and appreciate establishments like this as part of the gentrification of Chesterfield. Service was excellent, attentive and made our birthday party feel welcomed. Food - can't say for the other dishes but the my squid ink spaghetti, although tasty, for the price really should have added proper prawns and not just shrimp, tad stingy on the panchetta and could be a little more generous on the portion size.

Loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. This is going to be my new spot. The salmon was absolutely perfect
