Used to be a great chip shop. Unfortunately they keep messing up my order now. Even when it is written down for them 3 weeks in a row messed it up. I NOW GO TO CHESTERS.

This used to be the best chip shop in chesterfield used it regularly been away for a couple of years was looking for to some great fish and chips unfortunately that wasn’t the case chips where great the fish was inedible dry tough batter been a chef for 40 years and never had tough batter beforIt was busy with delivery guys picking up orders so had to wait a while the fish must have been in the warming top since lunch time is the only thing I can put it down to it was definitely not freshlyCooked fish and they now leave the skin on which I don’t mind when it’s soft this was like leather

Lovely Fish, Not bad Chips and friendly great Staff

Good chip shop food. So good in fact I ordered twice in a week. Chips were nice, really good fish. Chicken kebab was different, not bad but a little salty and dry. Sausage was standard, wouldn't really recommend curry sauce as the time I got it was watery and beans seemed over cooked and mushy. Burger was decent but bun was way to big for it, as burger was small and again usual standard chippy burger. Food came piping hot wrapped well and delivered on time.

Solid food, exactly what you would expect from a chippy. A large portion of chips won't disappoint if you want a lot of chips!

Great value for money, generous portion sizes, helpful staff and the food is amazing, will most definitely be returning ☺️

One of the best chippy's in the UK no lie. Food is on point and portions are not disappointing. With the price of potatoes I've never understood why some chippy's are tight. A large portion is large portion not a small portion. Fish is good so are kababs and all extras. They keep me coming back and I've tried a lot of chippy's nation wide one of had watered down vinegar???? you wont find that here. This guy can run a chippy 5 stars

Very large fish n chips shop, with all the usual covid safety procedures in place,inside & outside ,very pleasant counter staff with quick service & a good selection of Lunch time specials on offer ,I tried the mini fish special which included a good size size fish ,plenty of chips with the option of peas,beans,curry or gravy.Great meal & value for £4 ,I will return in the future & recommend you try a visit .
