Pizza Hut in Chesterfield

The buffet special was really good. I haven't given 5 stars as I don't like having to order via apps. I prefer to speak with people. App ordering takes away from the dine in experience

Nice restaurant, good friendly staff, lovely food. Easy to order through the QR code and app, not a problem at all.

Was asked to wait 5 minutes before taken the order plus the guy was doing cleaning, we only had a hour due to being at work with a pws and only had less than 1 hour and took our pizza home due to waiting constantly.

This would've gotten more stars if it wasn't for the QR code game they made us play. Aside from the condiments feeling as though they had more substance than the scanty pizzas we were served, the QR code ordering system was ridiculous and frustrating - it detracts massively from any kind of restaurant experience. It made the ambulatory staff seem redundant: all they did was ask us how we were getting on ordering via the mobile app, when it was patently obvious that we were finding it a total faff. I really don't understand why I, as a diner, am forced to use my smartphone (assuming that I have one to begin with, and with sufficient battery charge) to place an order when there are staff wandering around me who are perfectly capable of taking my order themselves. It felt like I was doing part of their job. I actually felt sorry for them as they looked so awkward half the time.The free salad with every meal is probably this place's one and only redeeming feature, but not enough to elevate it beyond a 1-star rating in my eyes. Ditch your QR code nonsense and encourage your staff to interact more with your customers and I might just return!

Was happy with how close the was going to sit a complete stranger. I had to say something. They did move the customer but I was told they could sit him so close. Wouldn't go again with or without covid present.

Lovely young lad welcomed us in and couldn't do enough to help, he was so attentive to the fact my husband was using crutches and made sure our table wasn't too far from the buffet area .... didn't get his name but he really was lovely! Always have good experiences when visiting but this young chap really made it for us today!

Parking available directly outside, quite a large place, plenty of seating and space to get around. Toilets are easily accessible, not always as clean and tidy as you like when they are busy. Good food, standard prices.

The food was great as usual. What made it for me was the manager, she was amazing. Shown us to our table with a smile, helped the staff clean and always said goodbye etc to everyone leaving. I know they all should be like that but she was one of a kind. Made the visit really good.

I was really hoping to give this place a good review because I had driven past this Pizza Hut several times and wanted to stop in so I finally did and I was pretty disappointed with the lack of customer service. I stood with baby and my 9 year old at the front waiting to be seated and was ignored until I confronted the manager who had walked passed us several times already and asked her if we just sit down or wait to be seated and she said she would get to us in a minute. Place was not packed or busy but manager seemed very stressed out kind of all over the place. For the price we paid at the end of the meal I would say it wasn’t really worth it but maybe it was just the poor customer service that put me off. Nice place but salad bar and ice cream area were messy and food took a long time to get to us.
