Spice Hous in Chesterfield

Worst "Indian" food I've ever had! Got 5 tiny pieces of chicken in what must have been nearly a litre of sauce that was so sweet it made me feel sick. Wasn't worth the 1.5 hour wait and I won't be ordering from here again!

Been eating from this place for 6 years never been anything wrong with my orders. Amazing food quality love it, ordering tonight but thought I'd leave a review.

Food was great but delivery and service appalling. Do not order via their app!! Delivery at least 2hrs+ if you get it at all! Charged 5 times for 1 order and 1 never delivered although confirmed and despatched! Phone service poor from manager. Shame after 2 yrs of good food. Will now go elsewhere.

When the meal finally arrived it was cold the chicken starter was under cooked and raw in places. Also when I phoned to ask when it would be delivered the guy on the phone was quite rude . Probably one of the worse curries we have had in a long time.

Quite honestly this is now our go to takeaway for Indian food. Personally I've tried it three times now with different dishes, rices and starters. Jalfezi, Naga and Saag Balti main courses were simply delicious, starters and sides also faultless. I cannot recommend highly enough given so many disappointments from other takeaways or restaurants, whose curries seem more preoccupied with how much garlic they can put in the dish. Keep doing what you're doing, it's fabulous food.

Tried this Indian for the first time, very picky when choosing decided to try something new so went for saag chicken tikka masala and it wad lovely would definitely buy again. Delivery was fast other indians i found am waiting ages for it.

Would have given more stars if possible.First time I've used this takeaway and wasn't disappointed.Prompt delivery. Food was pipiing hot and really tasty.Will deffo use again

This place is hit and miss all the time.1 week we order and its lovely, the next we order and the chips are soggy, the food is greasy, the salad is brown and its all cold. Well last night we had the worst yet, we phoned to complain and they said they would get the manager to ring back......were still waiting. I think we've given this establishment 1 too many chances we will not be ordering from here again.Just want to warn others. Not to waste your money.

Ohhh my Lord! Came for a Business trip to Chesterfield and thought let me try a local indian! As expected, coming from London you'd think all their meat would be on the bone. But the first indian where all their chicken is off the bone! Oooooh the spices! The most flavoursome curry on earth. There is definitely a day and night difference between the flavour and spices used in here compared to London. Will definitely visit again on my next trip up North!Highly Recommend!! Had a meal from here last nite for the first time, seekh kebab starter, mushroom rice, chicken madras..Mushroom rice, special butter chicken.Got to say both meals were bang on, will be ordering again soon 👍🏽
