The Boythorpe Fryer in Chesterfield

We have chips Fridays at work from here consistently great food lovely staff.

Not a good experience 😕 😞 under cooked chips / raw and a very soggy bread cob

Great chips but staff need a maths lesson. Tried to give me the wrong change twice in separate occasions by the same lady. 🤦

Only had the chips as vegan, but happy to hear they are vegan and have a dedicated fryer to the chips which are cooked in vegetable oil! Tasted good as well!

Clean and tidy place, inside and outside. Plenty of space for people inside waiting and for cars outside. Good prices, fair service time. Food isn't bad. Good deals available.

Was mediocre, think it's gone down hill alot. Chip where hardly cooked, battered sausage was extremely crispy. Didn't look to clean when we went in. The kids menu sign that up looks disgustingly dirty. Won't be going back. Expecting quantity food and got cr*p.

Have recommended so many times. . Bitterly disappointed tonight...Asked for a crispy chicken breast....did not get one...they admitted it wasn't crispy so gave me 2. Both were soggy ....and charged me for both. Massive let down

When for two large cod only had small ones so they gave us two small ones to make up for not having any large ones so we got four the price of two large one David

Nice food, chips seem to be cooked in different oil from fish. Didn't have to wait long to be served on Friday night.

Tried Boythorpe Fryer for the first time this evening. Although they were about to close (8.30pm) fresh fish and chips were cooked for us. Friendly staff. The fish was amazing - fresh, beautifully flaky and really tasty. Great chips too-not at all greasy! We will be back!
