I'd just like to thank the Crafty Dog and its staff, especially Shaun for making my 50th surprise birthday party a special evening. My wife and daughter said they were so helpful from start to finish in organising the party. The food, drinks and service were spot on!

Lovely place for a drink although I went with my sister and mum and we ordered cocktails and the bartender had not a clue how to make it, when sending drinks back after we took a sip, then he then sold the same drinks to another bunch of ladies who when telling them, told us they paid for it at a discount after we had paid for them. Good thing we didn't have covid poor girls. We have been back since because always give second chance and it was lovely

Wonderful dog friendly craft and real ale bar. We were welcomed by the smell of baking pizza. Modern, with knowledgeable staff, it's a great place to unwind. Enjoy. M

Absolutely amazing service from the moment I called to see if dogs were allowed Ben was an absolute pleasure. There was a bowl of water waiting for our dog and some treats, the food was beautiful and we had an overall excellent experience. Can't recommend enough! 5 stars from us

Beer is very reasonably priced. Food is over priced. I had a sandwich of ham, cheese and pepperoni, which was way too spicy, even for me. We shared some loaded fries, which were nice, but cost £7, more than the price of the toasted sandwich, and not the portion size I was expecting for the price.

Big party Sunday. Child friendly, staff attentive and welcoming. The beef short ribs is exceptional and the vegetables are seasoned and tasty.Pre order was lost, but didn’t alter the experience. Well done Crafty Dog. We’ll be back.Thank you. 😀

We love it here! They serve the best Sunday roasts. The beef roast is super generous and the veggie nut roast is so tasty! The staff are always really friendly too. Definitely recommend!

Great treat, treated to Sunday Lunch.Very well Served and Presented, great meal and Dessert, made very welcome by all.

Went here for a birthday party, booked a table well in advanced and stated it was for a birthday, pretty much ruined the vibe for the night, food took over 90 min to arrive( pizzas) , the only thing they were realistically concerned about was serving drinks which in itself was a delayed experience, the excuse we were given is that one of their chefs had called in sick however no one came over to mention this to us or warned us prior to ordering ,apologised for the wait after asking at around 60 min after order but was assured it would be no longer than 10 more mins(staff at this point we’re telling others it was no longer than 20min wait)….had to wait a further 30 min and if we hadn’t of asked again probably a lot longer….when the food finally arrived the staff member serving it didn’t have a clue what they had brought out…we then had a member of staff ask us if we had an extra pizza with us….shambles……if your going to take bookings then prioritise these bookings , the guy stated they had a lot of walk ins however we only noticed another 3 tables(all with reserved signs) having food(not walk ins) , admittedly they did have a function, however if your booking people in you should be able to cope which they clearly couldn’t …..nothing offered as a gesture of good will just wanted us to get lost so they could continue serving people drinks ……won’t be returning anytime soon
