Google stated it opens at 11 so we programmed a pitstop on our cycle ride from Sheffield to Nottingham. When we got there we discovered it opens at 12.

Cheap boozer. Nice beer garden. Inside is a bit dated though could do with a lick of paint. Signage from billy is a little bit off putting and unwelcoming for kids and even adults to be honest. Need to maybe change it.

·

Not ideal for wheelchair & powerchair users due to entrance being tight, outside near the canal is nice with a pint . The lady server was helpful & friendly. A pint of Carling is £2.80. Outside could due with a makeover, l won't visit again

Best pub by a country mile. Landlord fab... beers nice... never had a bad pint. Location amazing. Let's hope it stays that way. Be a very sad state of affairs if family fueds ruin something so good.

Used to really enjoy this place, however upon visiting today was greeted with a sign stating cash only and VIP/Locals only for England games. Would not recommend on the grounds of customer discrimination.

This local pub in alongside the canal between Chesterfield and Birmingham. It's got a great range off beers, friendly staff, lovely country pub.
