This was a great diversion from our usual haunts on our regular visit to Chesterfield Centre. Drawn by a great soundtrack, we visited on a busy Saturday night. They offer a huge selection of drinks, a great menu and lots of snacks if you prefer. Prices match the decor, not over the top, but modern in their approach. I'm guessing the building has been a very long time, and how this place is now set up now it will be around for a lot longer. Top notch ⭐️

Great selection of craft and real ales in a large and friendly atmosphere.

Visited 20.2.22 and served by female bartender originally from Stroud (Dawn?) No problems to try before you buy with a good selection of alesSome interesting intimate spaces for those wanting peace and quiet. Couldn't see the garden as it was dark

Thought Chesterfield was a lovely town centre. The Rectory looks beautiful inside and out and is located right next to Chesterfield's crooked spire. The drinks are more pricey than the nearby Weatherspoons, but they're worth it. Very friendly, diligent staff + the beer garden is enclosed so we could let our little girl have a run around while we relaxed. All in all, very impressed. 5 stars.

Staff really nice very welcoming and friendly. Very clean and tidy.. but food wasn't good at all very dry. Just overall not good very disappointing to say how much we spent on food wasn't cheap.. Would definitely return for a drink but will not be returning for food..

For our first night in Chesterfield we came here on a whim. Turns out to have been a fantastic decision. Food and drinks are amazing, very friendly staff, and the decor is unique and interesting without being too much. Would highly recommend, and likely we will return before heading home.

Nice atmosphere but the selection of ales and beers was a little small and the roast wasn’t that great. I ordered roast pork and got 2 tiny slices of pork, two potatoes and dry mash. More stalk than broccoli which was slightly on the turn. (See image) Nice yorkshire pud though!. Just to add my partner only had one slice of pork so the nice waitress delivered some more saying “we normally give 3”. Not today it seems.

Lovely staff and great location. Food was amazing!! Parking nearby and the car park allows users to Pay by the App - which is handy once you're in town.
