Omg what can I say, the most amazing people I’ve ever met, can not do enough for you. A fully booked place but found a little table for me. The Sunday dinner was just beautiful, hot and bursting with flavour. Thank you for making a lady very happy on her break. Will be coming again that’s for sure xxxxx

Had a great meal today at the woodside to celebrate sons birthday. We had table of 8. The food was amazing great choice was fresh well presented and hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and will definitely go again.

Decent plate in a nice environment. This is a clean, well appointed pub with a good menu and early week offers (Mon and Tues). I had a mixed grill with a decent sized rump steak, gammon, sausages and egg. Chunky chips were crisp and tasty too...only grumble was the chicken which was a little bland although well cooked.

Good food, which, in my opinion, tasted more like home cooking than almost all the other pub lunches I've eaten. They were patient and helpful when my wife and I we realised we'd both forgotten our wallets 😖.

A family get together with various dishes and sweets ordered. Didn't have to wait long considering there were seven of us and everything was piping hot and very tasty. Really pleasant staff and a lovely atmosphere. Desserts were delicious and could not fault any of it. Been here several times now and would thoroughly recommend it.

Cheap food but that's the only good point. Poor quality (minced beef Pie is like school mush), strange pairings for the menus (katsu curry come with salad) and only diet soft drinks on draft. Service is good to be fair, Unfortunately other local cheap meals or even wetherspoons are better quality and better value overall.

4 of us went out for a meal, had to wait 30-45 minutes until we were “allowed” to order our food. 2 of us ordered steak Medium and Medium-rare, neither of the steaks were cooked to that. Both steaks well done and not pink, very dry and hard. Diane sauce wasn’t good at all, the colour was off and didn’t taste like Diane sauce. Staff were quite rude and appeared very disinterested.
