First and foremost the young Lady at the front of house was nothing short of superb. Attentive and patient, we were made to feel most welcome. The food was delicious, starters and sundries all excellent. Nice atmosphere, could probably do with one or two more lagers to choose from but that's a minor suggestion. Happy to have this gem located so close to us.

Sent an incomplete order. Promised to call me back but never did (heard manager swearing in background). Also ordered the oven cooked shashlick and got fobbed off with a stir fried chicken of some kind. Chips were soggy. Not impressed.

For 60 pounds I expected a lot better quality than what arrived. "Meat" dishes were a bit of a joke with hardly any meat in them, and just padded out with curry sauce. Tandoori mixed grill was very sparse with meat as well, I didn't even get filled. Tandoori roti was very thick, not thin like a roti should be and was uncooked in many places. Poppadoms were mostly smashed to pieces, and as we had asked for 8 of them, we asked for extra mango chutney and onions but there was barely enough to cover two poppadoms. Overall not impressed, and won't order again.

We popped in on the spur of the moment, not expecting to be able to eat in at the moment. But we got a table, excellent service and some of the best Indian food I've eaten anywhere. Definitely going back.

We ate inside the restaurant, whilst visiting family in Corby. Not bad, but not great either.Food was OK - No prawns in the tandoori mixed grill, couple chunks of meat, probably lamb and chicken, a chicken thigh (extremely small) and half a seekh kebab, nothing else - a bit lack lustreQuite a let down to be honest :( I left hungry. At nearly £13 for the Tandoori mixed grill, it can only be described as a rip off.I wouldn't hurry back there.

Great night food as we liked, waiter respectful but then we could have normal banter,

First time we have visited here.Staff were friendly, food was excellent.Only reason they lost a star is that they were missing most of the white wine from the wine menu.

I have only ordered takeaways from here. They have always been very tasty. The onion bajis are the best I have ever eaten. Staff are lovely. I normally order and walk around East Carlton Park and collect afterwards. Always ready for half an hour later as I requested. Even early in the evening the restaurant is busy. Well worth a visit.

I don’t understand the good reviews. While the service is excellent, and the place very clean, the food was disappointing. We ordered a number of dishes that were all medium or medium-hot and they were all barely hotter than a korma. Heat level aside - because a good Indian does not have to be hot - the main problem for me was that they lacked the base spice flavours (garam masala etc) and were very bland. The overwhelming base flavour was like what you find in a Chinese or chip shop curry sauce - you could almost taste a powdery texture too, it was very strange. This is obviously a very popular place and taste is a subjective preference but I eat a lot of Indian food all over the country as well as cooking Indian food at home regularly and the dishes here were inauthentic and bland. They were not horrible, nor over-oily; they were completely edible, very fresh, but boring. My sister and Mum didn’t see any issue but they don’t really like Indian, which I think says it all. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone who is actually into their Indian food.
