Oakley Fish Bar in Corby

Our local chippy, always good but Just got two small cod and a medium chips for me and the wife. God I wish I’d had large. The best fish and chips I’ve had for ages. 10/10

Very good chip shop, 1 of the best in corby. Fancied a kebab roll was very good & the chips were freshly cooked. Wasn't 2 busy when I went but it dies get very busy around 6 o'clock.

I went in today to buy 2 burger meals and a blonde woman served me. She added vinegar when I asked her not to. Didn’t add the cucumber and added cheese when I didn’t ask for cheese. Poor poor poor service. Now I wasted my money. Thanks.

Usually our favourite chippy but after tonight we're going to find another one. Pie was cold, fish wasn't cooked properly. It all had to go in the bin. ☹

Cash only but no sign up to say so but apparently me not knowing was my fault! I was told I could get cash from Tesco's and was not offered the option to pay by card. I pointed out there was not a sign saying pay by cash but it made no difference.

Food is usually good, however, if you go at around 20:30 you'll be treated poorly by staff that are too keen to get home. "you'll have to have a small" when I've asked for a medium chips isn't how I expect to be treated, the customer behind me knew that as he walked out saying I could have his.Got home and because they're in such a rush to finish, gravy lid wasn't even put on properly so it's leaked everywhere burning my partner. Dished up the remnants of the oil soaked chips and I'm expected to eat what I wouldn't give to a dog.If my custom is such a hindrance, then I'll go elsewhere to spend my money, it's as simple as that.

Normally ok but where is this kebab meat in this roll, poor service to let someone walk away with this. Should have stuck with Pytchley would have got triple the amount.
