Lovely pub restaurant with quality food, beer and wine. We went on steak night and enjoyed two sirloin steak dinners for £25. Recommend you book and well worth a visit if you're in the area

Food was excellent and portions were more than adequate. Now they have loyalty card which is a bonus. Gives an excuse to visit again.

Fantastic food, because of the brilliant chef and front of house Julie is an absolute delight. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

What an amazing find. The setting is fab in a beautiful stone building in a beautiful village.The food was excellent. We started with bruschetta and the black pudding fritters. Had to share as both were so delicious.The belly of pork main course was reported as being excellent too; I noticed there was no offer of sharing that!I went for the chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms and smothered in a cheese sauce. What luxury!!It would have been rude not to share a dessert so the cheesecake appeared. Sheer indulgence. We could not have eaten one each!!The service was brilliant too. Our lovely lady was happy to help with a small change as I don't like Stilton so cheddar was substituted. And she recommended the dessert!!We will be back.

Fantastic village pub. Was made to feel very welcome by the locals. Food was excellent and well priced. Loads of character and history in the pub. Would highly recommend a visit.
