It's a proper old timely local pub, will what you need more of. Staff are friendly atmosphere is amazing.... On a side note the food is great too, it real home cook food for a great place... 100 % diamond... 10//10

Fast becoming my favourite pub. Landlady and staff and really friendly. There's a good selection of food on offer. Meals are lovely and great value. Looking forward to my next visit.

Very friendly and familiar place, upstairs you know eat comfortable and outside have big area and have pig big parking lots.

Went here for a family meal, but was rather disappointed with the meals, I had the steak pie which was nice but my partner had the lasagna which had no taste. My grandma had the macaroni which didn't appear to have any cheese on it and tasted like plain pasta. Whilst my parents both had the hunters chicken which again didn't have much taste or look rather appeasing. On the plus side the food is priced rather cheap.

Public house sells food . Quality is quite good mains had lamb and beef extra 50 pence very good thick gravy Yorkshire puddings a let down Dessers reasonably priced but apple pie was microwaved a shame as real apple pies . Horse raddish delicious . service good staff polite and well mannered . The pub itself nice set up rustic and original ground level upstairs modern and bright . With good outside garden and tables and ample parking . Could have been a five but as stated let down on Yorkshire puddings and desserts .a well deserved 4 star
