Abdul's in Daventry

Whent it to get take away, was ignored at counter while other people were served. Walked out discussed.

Spontaneously popped in for a meal here and was not disappointed! absolutely amazing and friendly service, food was delicious but just too much to finish, no complaints at all it was a really lovely evening

What a shame. Have ordered from here on more than a few occasions was always really satisfied. But they last few times have been dreadful. Thought we would give it one more go tonight and what a disaster that was. It was the worst one ever. Will not be ordering again complete and utter waste of money. Sure my toilet will enjoy the refund though 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM ABDULS. We've waited over 3 hours for food. I can honestly say it is single handedly the worst takeaway experience I've had and the service provided is genuinely comedic. There are many better Indian restaurants in Daventry and I wish we had made a better choice.

Service was lovely.unfortunately the birthday girl got the wrong curry prawn instead of chicken luckily she is not allergic to shellfish but it put her off her meal .we didn't pay for here meal and they were very apologetic about the mistake .the establishment is very clean x

I have never been dissatisfied with my meals at abdul's. Friendly staff great tasting food. Good value for money.

Ordered a delivery on Friday night was told an hours wait, wasn't a problem. But we waited almost 2 hours and the food was cold and we didn't even get our full order, I live a 2 minutes walk from the restaurant I can see it from my window. Me and my partner had not long finished work feeling tired so we just wanted a delivery, I phoned up they said they were waiting for delivery driver be another 5 minutes, thought OK but still ended up waiting another 30 minutes iwould of walked up and collected if I knew it was going to be so long.I wouldn't of given it 1 star to be honest poor customer service to be honest absolutely disgracefulI won't be ordering from here again

I would not recommend this indian at all, the chicken we had eaten was cold & undercooked in placed and had veins running throughout!The naan breads turned up after we had finished our mains and received the bill.When I asked to speak to management I was shoved of with " he's to busy to speak to anyone and cooking in the kitchen! This was the second time I had visited and was disappointed both times! When I refused to pay untill I had spoken to management I was then spoken to rudely by staff.Terrible service by all.

I have ordered from Abdul's Indian Restaurant on a Saturday night... with all the quarantine social distancing regulations, I was expecting it to be a busy delivery night and was not expecting the order to arrive in record time;I have placed the order at 19:16 and the automated email came shortly, informing me that the order has been processed and it should arrive in aprox. 90min.I called the delivery number after 90min. and was informed that the driver has not picked up the order yet, but it should be with me in max 15 min. (the staff was very polite and apologetic throughout our whole conversation)After 135min. I have called again the delivery number and was informed that my order should be arriving in max 5 min; the order did arrive indeed as advised and the driver again was very apologetic and polite;After almost two hours and a half of wait, our order arrived (almost cold, but I did not expect a hot plate after that wait anyway )Unfortunately, the taste did not compensate for the wait (maybe a hot plate would have left a different experience?). The food was ok... not excellent-not bad, but ok...This was my first time ordering a delivery from Abdul's Indian Restaurant, however I will also give the venue a shot once the restrictions will lift;

The place has recently been done up and its very cozy and nice. The food is very tasty in comparison to other restaurants around. Best in Daventry in my opinion, and the people are very polite and helpful. The price for Indian food is great as well.
