Brinjol in Daventry

The best Indian meal we have had in years! Fresh ingredients, amazing flavours. (And friendly service)

We visited Brinjol on an unexpected trip to Weedon. We were absolutely stunned as to the high quality food which was cooked to perfection. The waiters were friendly and prompt too. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Well done guys. We had a lovely evening :-)

Food is cold and bland for a start, but then when it came to paying, they had the cheek of short changing us by £20 and refused to take responsibility for their mistake and were very rude when we tried to resolve it with them! AVOID!

As a Take awayThey usually pretty good but today's food arrived 1 hr late. Been too long on a hot plate so didnt taste good and arrived semi warm. For the price they charge (nearly £10 for a dish) I would expect quality service; but I think they were struggling to meet the demands today.Burned nan ;food left to long in that bag but still send out for the delivery and charged top price for it.We did hope that was the case but week later and you still can't get it right. Semi warm food delivered again. Pila rice compleatly uneatable looked reheated or seriously overcooked. Just very poor quality. I won't be back anytime soon.

Had a lovely meal here with my son at the weekend. Really, really great. Was in the area for the night and decided to give it a try. I've eaten my fare share of curries over the years and this place is up there with the best of them. Great food, friendly and efficient service. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food, lovely friendly staff and our first Indian in two years (damn covid!) was a real night to remember, thank you.

Great flavours, lovely fresh vegetable side dishes. Only slight criticism would be way too much potato in the vegetable biryani and not enough other vegetables

This Indian restaurant is great!Open until late, food is DELICIOUS and just as spicy as you wish it was.The Gentlemen working there were extremely professional.Price is incredibly low for the quality of service. Not the best red wine I tried but you probably shouldn't be drinking it with Indian food. Also so many different dishes available.Top level! Bravi

Take away experience: ridiculously small portions, taste ok but huge chunks of hard cardamom, nothing special. We won't use it again.
