Read reviews, some were a bit misleading. wanted a good place for our anniversary with my wife as we are new to Daventry. I am glad i booked we found it to be the best place in Daventry for now. Absolutely recomend. Talked with friendly staff, food is tasty fresh not like some places. Hope this helps you decide

We tried this restaurant in its first week open after lockdowns. The restaurant wanted a £20 deposit to secure our booking which we duly did. Unfortunately failed to show any honesty or integrity when failing to take the deposit off our bill. Then argued about it afterwards. Starter was tasteless. Mains ok. But will never revisit I'm afraid.

Went here last night with friends for a celebratory meal, it was fantastic. The food was great, the environment was lovely and the staff were amazing. We will definitely back. If I had to be over critical, the 2 for £10 cocktails that are advertised on the website are only honoured if you ask for them, the deal is not automatically honoured upon ordering. But it was easily sorted when I queried the bill!

Had a delicious meal for our anniversary. Staff are very attentive. Pleasant surroundings. Thank you. Will definitely be visiting again. 😊

Amazing food at a decent price, good service, nice atmosphere. Overall it’s a great Italian restaurant! Did I mention the amazing food?

We visited Murati's Daventry last night for the first time. My husband said the Calzone pizza was the best he had, I ordered the seafood linguine which was delicious. Very impressed with the freshness of the food. Would recommend a visit.

Food good, service not so. It was a Sunday afternoon, virtually nobody eating, lots of take aways however, it was more like Pizza Express, nobody took much notice of my friend and I, I asked where our main course was after nearly one hour and we was told they'd forgot to put our main course order through, so as a consequence it took a long time to serve us. Well we could still be sitting there now if I hadn’t asked, nobody bothered to come and ask if all was ok. Appalling customer service at a very quiet time in the restaurant. Disappointed as we were both so looking forward to a new restaurant in Daventry .

Really liked this place and now on my list of places to come back to. Went in as a small group and the time flew. We had lamb chops, sea bass, Meat mixed grill and all were lovely. Need to go back to try some more of the dishes. Friendly staff, great traditional feel to the place. Was really impressed with this one .Nice to have an Italian in town

So please to visit Muratis on Tuesday. A lively atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Lovely selection of traditional food, not just the usual commercial high street fayre. Mussels in creamy leek and garlic wine sauce was superb and sea bass so tasty. I cannot wait to return and try other dishes. If you visit this restaurant you will not be disappointed. Its been a long time since we can celebrate a fine place to eat in town.

We arrived at 7pm and the place was full so it obviously appeals to lots of people; but for my husband and I the brightly lit, noisy atmosphere seemed more like a works canteen than an Italian restaurant.When we arrived the waiter was very friendly but by 7:20 we had still not been given menus or been offered a drink so we left.We had made our booking 2 days earlier at the restaurant itself as we had been unable to reach them by phone or Facebook, and then on the night, being ignored by several waiters when they must’ve seen that we’d got no menus or drinks is failing in the basic fundamentals.I would recommend that they get their booking system in order and personally I would like to see them create a bit more of an intimate atmosphere with less garish lights and more appropriate music.
