By far the best Chips in Daventry!Every so often we pop over to Daventry with my son to see some friends & quite often we will get some Fish & Chips from this ChippyThe portions are huge & the quality of the food is second to none! The staff are very friendly & appreciative tooWe’ll worth a visit

Best chippy in Daventry, has so much choice and are always friendly. Tried the new chicken burger which was delicious. As is the battered haggis. Good food & great service, what more could you want 😊

Very good fish and chips, good portion , tasty and not greasy at all. Will definitely be using again.

I went to this Chippy at 5.10pm, they open at 5pm, when I got home, I found the chips (£2.70 for a small portion) were re-heated from lunchtime, absolutely awful. Needless to say that this is the last time I use this Chippy.

For years in Daventry, Trawlers was Number 1 for food. Not anymore!!. The fish & chips from Daventry Square Fish Bar is FANTASTIC!! THESE ARE THE PEOPLE TO BEAT!!!! Brilliant food, really nice & pleasant staff & well priced. The food is first class, I can not make it anymore clearer....THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!! Thank you.The food from Daventry Square Fish Bar is excellent. Freshly cooked to perfection. The establishment is fantastically clean. The staff are always friendly & helpful. Good food, great value. Should change their name to “Tina Turners” as they are “Simply The Best!”

I live in Flore and travel to this shop without fail every week and this team does a fantastic job. I have owed Fish and chip shops for 25 years down south and for me this is the best fish and chips for miles. The food is always top quality and I can tell they are using the best oils to fry in (no cheap oils like 80% of chip shops do). The Fish is always nicely battered and the Min cod they serve is bigger than most shops large fish..lol. The staff at the till and the guys frying are always friendly and the shop is spotless. Hats off to these guys, keep up the good work. PS my Son just shouted out the burgers are "wicked" !

Horrible! Went in at 1pm on Friday 17th September. Ordered chips, chicken & mushroom pie with a large battered sausage & a large tub of curry sauce. The lady serving asked to confirm that I wanted a large tub of peas 🤢🤮, I politely corrected her asking for Curry sauce. She immediately turned around and potted up my “curry sauce”.I got home to find I had peas and not curry sauce 🤮 and that my pie was rock solid over cooked or from the day before. The chips where as dry as a nuns habit and tasteless. I tried the pie by snapping it in half and eating a bit of the filling, it had a very odd taste and I had to Immediately spit it out to save my stomach! The only thing I ate was the battered sausage. Don’t think I’ll bother again.

Thurs 1st April. Again I was extremely delighted with the service and scrumptious fish and chips. Generous portions and the cod was delicious. I phone my order and it was ready for me. Really impressed with the whole experience. Thank-you Toni and team. Rgds chris ball
